Who is Robert Mergupis?

Lets get started; I was born in Hollywood Florida and raised in Palm Beach County. I do feel really blessed being brought up down here in the time I was. As kids we had all the room in the world it seems to do what we wanted, not so today with all the development.

Be that as it may, my father was my first and most important coach and mentor. And just like most kids, I did rebelled against him. Well it seems like at lease early on in my life I had to learn the hard way. You see, one thing about the hard way, you will never forget it.

And if you don’t learn, forget about it you will never be an entrepreneur! Because learning for your mistakes in life and business is all a big part about personal growth!

My father had his own buisness in landscaping and irrigation, and as a kid I went to work with him a lot during the summer time. He taught me that if you desire some thing in this world you must go out and act on it! My father passed away at an early age of 44, I love that man there are no words that I can put here to explain how I feel about him.

You know funny thing is I did not recognize any of this when I was at the youthful rebel age when he was alive. It really is true some times you don’t know what you have in till you lose it. Dad I love you and miss you very much!

So now you know that my father was my first coach and mentor in my life. I drop out of school and went into the building industry. I started out as a labor and work and learn skills in till I started my own company called Petra Interiors, LLC. I was very successful and busy, for it was very competitive.

Even though I was very successful and busy with my work I knew there was something missing in my life. I wanted someone to share it with, so I prayed and prayed to God please bring me someone into my life. Well you no it is, never on my timing that it happens, which is a whole other lesson. But He came thru for me and I have my best friend and wife to help me share our life’s together now.

Like I explain, earlier on about the devolvement in South Florida, we built to many and to fast so the building boom came to an end. Petra Interiors, LLC closed it doors in June 2006 way before anyone really new what was going on with the banking and lending institutions. My wife was sick so I was with her thru her illness, and after when she was able we had some family business we had to take care of up in New York.

My wife and my sister in-law was deeded over a house up in New York and some how nobody seems to have the time or can’t even recognize it as a gift, they turn an asset into a liability. The sister and brother look at it as a burden, I recognize that they did not have the entrepreneur mindset as the biggest problem, but first and foremost my wife’s health came first!

After she was able we headed up to New York and rolled up our sleeves and went to work, while the brother and sister went on to their jobs (Just Over Broke) every day like every thing was normal. The sister did come over and help out when she could but very rarely heard from the brother. Still to this day I try to explain to them that, they was just a victim of the system of out dated traditional education of going to school and college after, getting a job will be all you need in this world. They still don’t see it, because I bailed them out!

Well we did not let that stop us, we had a goal and we were not letting anyone get in the way. We had to clean out the house with over fifty years worth of stuff in it. We had to prep and paint it for it was not painted in like twenty years. I was the plumber and the gardener, plus the broker to show the house and also for legal advice.

The house was appraised at $515,000 the year before, and during a buyers market I got $495,000 for it, plus saving them 6% on a broker’s fee, which was about a little over $29,000.

This when, I first really started to market online. All our advertisement was online not one newspaper ad for it seems that nobody had the money or did not wish to invest in the sales of the home.  Here is one of the many online ads I used click here.

Well we closed on the house on Dec 4, 2007 and we had everything my wife wanted from here parents home loaded it up in the first snow, we headed back to South Florida in Port Saint Lucie to close one page and to start a another.

So now we are back and a colleague of mine knew what we went thru and she informed me about this online business which I researched and came to the discovery that it is pretty much recession proof and is desired around the world. I recognize we are not in the industrial area any more we are in the informational area a long time ago, but shame on me for not taking action when I should have.

Well I join under her, whom I did not mine, but what I did find out was our team we sign under was not to help full at all. I got a website that was generic and faceless I got traffic to my site but that was it. This all was a very important lesson for me, I later learn that if the product is as got as you claim it is, it really is not about the product, it is about you!

I have learned how important it is to personal brand myself and most important I have changed my team and found the right coach & mentor, now I am on a team that is very proactive! I am willing to pay it forward to help others and to build relationships, plus to continue my personal growth that will last a lifetime and beyond. I am here to share with anyone that wants to learn about internet marketing and to have a partner relationship.
