After a successful nearly 50 year career banking, I thought my 'Golden" years would be quiet and without intrusion from the real world. I always had an interest in social and political issues. Little did I know those interests would be the catalyst to propel me into an endeavor that would be a life changing experience.

The 2008 National election reawakened my need to serve, and now with the US and Global economies looking more and more like a train wreck in slow motion, I've found a new energy to spread the gospel of wealth preservation.

I’m in the twilight of my life (76 years young) and have long since retired to what I thought would be a life of permanent rest and relaxation. I had spent nearly half a century toiling away as a banker, back when a banker enjoyed a reputation of honor.

In 2000, I retired and sold every piece of real property and purchased a motorhome and became a nomad. I felt during my working life, I missed too many great things the United States had to offer. My wife, Carolyn, my faithful and loyal Bichon, Max and I have been “road warriors” ever since. Each summer we spend time in Northern Illinois to visit the children and grandchildren, then it’s on the road again.

As a banker, I watched, as everyone did, the economic cycles of the seventies, eighties, and nineties and beyond. No-one is immune from those cycles, but I was always troubled at the steps the affluent of my customers were able to do to protect their nesteggs, while the majority of my customers were unable to do the same things for themselves because they were priced out of the market.

A couple of years ago, I was introduced to a plan that for the first time in history, the “common” person, anywhere in the world, would be in a financial position to do the same thing as the wealthy do when a economic downturn approaches. That is they can now protect their “wealth” using the very same “tools”.

Once I understood the mechanics of what I was looking at, and the pending economic storm, I eschewed my life of leisure and embarked of a mission of informing all who will listen they don’t have to be the victim of financial chaos any longer.

As I said, my days on this side of the green sod are short, so I feel like Paul Revere, galloping across the planes, trying to alarm the populace of impending financial distress and they no longer have to suffer the losses.

That is who and what I am, and probably will be until my ashes are spread over Turnberry Country Club, my favorite golf course, and I’m just a memory to all.
