Empowering others to ultimately create FREEDOM in their lives. To provide REAL value to the lives of everyone I come in contact with. To let people know that I’ll be there when they need help and direction, and that I really care about them and their success. Education is a big issue. I believe that the formal education system is failing our children in that it fails to adequately instill the basics, and so Self Education has become a huge need. Consequently, one of my big interests is drawing attention to the need for change in this area and in the meantime providing a conduit to quality sources of self education. I enjoy reading inspirational texts and topping up my own self education. Travel is an interest. I would love to explore this great world away from the tourist hangouts.
Activities:
I love spending quality time with my children and helping them do what ever they are doing. That includes playing a "tackling bag" for my son and he practices his rugby skills, and throwing baskets with my daughters. It also includes various "adventures", one of which is helping with homework. (Methods have changed). I also enjoy live concerts by various artists and going for a spin in my MGB.

About Me
I was a successful Business Analyst and Project Manager in the corporate world for 27 years, going to work every day in a suit and tie. Every day was the same story – to make the company a better profit – and I really loved it! I loved it so much, that I was working more time than I was paid for, but I was successful.
I was very good at my work and obtained great satisfaction in designing solutions to business problems and empowering and enabling businesses and the people within them to get what they wanted.
Over the years, I became “comfortable and secure” in what I did. However, I eventually found myself “pigeon holed” in roles, which in retrospect, I did not really enjoy for a number of reasons, amongst them, feeling unfulfilled. However, I had a very young family by this time and due to the challenges that presented, I took the easy road I suppose and “coasted” professionally.
I was always very busy and was getting more and more tired and irritable. Another six years had passed and one day, one of my daughters asked me why I was always so tired and cranky. That was my wake up call that maybe I had my priorities out of balance. I was not in alignment with and performing my life purpose. It was then that I decided that I needed to get out of where I was and begin doing something that fulfilled my life purpose and allowed me to spend major time with the most important people in my life…my family. Hence I became a “lifestyle guru”.
I started exploring the possibility of working for myself and making money for myself. In this search what I realized was of far greater value to the world than just making money for myself. I realized that the key to real true happiness and success was in helping others.
I believe that life is all about being authentic and in alignment with our life purpose. And for me, my purpose has always been to help and EMPOWER others to ultimately create FREEDOM in their lives. My intention is to provide REAL value to the lives of everyone I come in contact with. I discovered that this is a rewarding experience and it is my MISSION in life.
I’ve realized people are hungry for the truth. What people really want to know is whether you are a person of integrity, authentic, whether you’ll be there when they need help and direction, and whether you really care about them and their success. People want to connect with people who truly care and who they know, like and trust.
To your success in your growth and in reaching your full potential in all facets of your life…
