About Me

I'm Joanne from Victoria BC Canada. I lived for many years in central Canada, and I'm so grateful to be here where the winters are mild, snow is rare, and we have the Pacific Ocean and the mountains, plus gorgeous gardens. Victoria truly is a wonderful place to live! 

Personal development is extremely important to me. I like to read Joyce Meyer, John C. Maxwell, and Joel Osteen among others. I also listen to Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Earl Nightingale and others. I believe we really do become what we think about. Having the right thoughts and mindset is crucial to having a successful life. 

I'm a Christian and involved in my church as well. My other interests are travel, pets (I adore my two cats!), entertaining and listening to good music.

I also enjoy going for long walks. Here in Victoria there are many beautiful places to do that.

Stopping by to say hello. Enjoyed your profile and photos. Have wanted to take a trip to Victoria and Vancouver for years. Sounds wonderful...am surprised you don't get much snow. Joanne, although a member for a while I am just now learning how to use this. Had back surgery in June and just now getting back into things - prior to surgery the sciatic pain kept me from concentrating.
