About Me

Hi to all,

I'm Jay Olivo from beautiful Lindenhurst NY which is on the south shore of Suffolk county.

I work from home and have the time freedom to set my schedule to do exactly what I choose to so my availability is flexible.

As far as skill sets......I think there are lots of them that I bring to the table. First I would present my background to all of you without trying to bore you all.

I grew up on Long Island with my Mom and Dad who were Rich with Love but Poor with money. My dad owned an Italian Restaurant and the truth is the Restaurant owned him.

As an only child, growing up was a challenge. I had the benefit of getting mostly everything I wanted and the curse of being alone during the rainstorms and bad weather.

I always thought I was different from most of my friends because while they wanted to talk sports statistics I wanted to sell stuff door to door.

So as a child, I sold Newspaper subscriptions, candy and various junk to people who thought I was cute and took pity on a poor kid trying to make a buck for a slurpie or a pack of _base_ball cards.

As I grew, I became a leader in all of the organizations I joined like the Boy Scouts of America and the Suffolk County Police Explorers.

In high school I was kind of a bad kid, I cut class and hung out. I lived so close to the school that it was easy. At 17, I graduated about 40 people from the last person so needless to say I was not a great student because quite frankly that kind of education bored me.

So at 17 I took a job in a factory because I couldn't keep working at my dads’ restaurant. Who wants to spend time with their father when they are 17? Besides all my friends were working at the factory so why not?

I started at the bottom, because of my leadership skills I quickly became a supervisor, and at the age of 20, I had 50 people working for me with 2 direct foremen as direct reports.

I became a student of success in my early 20's when the company I worked for sent me to a seminar on leadership and success. It sparked something inside of me that made me wake up and at 21 I started to read all the books I could find such as the Power of Positive thinking, How to win Friends and influence people and Think and Grow Rich just to name a few.

I wanted what was avoiding my family. Unlimited financial freedom and success. Then I got cursed. Yes, a Woman came into my life and I got married at 22. So My dream had to wait because I needed a house.

I studied all the books on real estate and finally purchased my first house in Bay Shore in 1986 for no money down. Success I thought. I went into the real estate business only to have the bottom fall out and I was left holding the bag.

So with a newborn and too much pride to ask my dad for a job I went back into corporate America. I worked the third shift so I could go to school and baby sit my son while my wife worked and even though it was tough, Life was good.

Then my wife introduced me to someone at her job whose brother was a hotshot in a network marketing company. That is where the bug bit me. I saw the power of duplication and residual income. I joined and had some success with a communication company. I had all my friends and family and co-workers change their long distance service and purchase toll free numbers from my company. Man I thought I made it....until I ran out of people to talk to.

Then another distraction happened. THE INTERNET. I was the first person on my block to get a computer and I have been around since before the time of windows 3.11

While I worked in corporate America for a well know cosmetic company, in 88 my mom passed, in 96 I got a divorce, in 98 my dad passed and I think that is just the way things were suppose to happen.

My wife and are parted as friends and I would like to say that everyone should be married at least one time in their life just to know if it will work for them. I wound up with full custody of my Son when he was 14 and I got to keep my house which I inherited from my parents passing. I have been a single parent since 2000

Am I Boring any of you Yet?

Well give me a chance I am sure I will.

Now back to my story. In early 2000, I decided to get out of my pity party and change my life to what I had dreamed about in my 20's so I went to web design school to learn about programming and how to build and design web sites.

What a joke that was. There were 19 kids and Me a grown man working the midnight shift coming to class to learn from pimple faced teachers who just graduated from some certification course. Anyway, I did my best to learn in-between naps and found myself using my skills to help my friend’s band create a web site and created my own web design business.

Just like before you can't make any money working for your friends for free beer and when you run out of friends to talk to about web design it was back to the grind of finding people. I tried advertising on FFA pages and in chat rooms and such but didn't have much success.

Then I came across a guy who helped me to focus on the Network Marketing again. Truth is I had some success......more then the average person who looses his shirt joining a network marketing company. Life was good.

So after about a year working the business I decided that I would take a break from it all and FOCUS on just enjoying life. And that is what I did. I had my Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering that took me 10 years to get while taking night classes, working and being a single dad and I branched out to new horizons.

I started to work for a major soft drink company and shortly found out that I was nobodies’ whipping boy. This prompted me to get back into my own business and look for something I could be proud of.

That is when I found My Proven Home Business. Now I have used all of the skills I have learned from all of the years of painful lessons in futility to help create what I think is the best opportunity for the average person to succeed.

I want to expand that into the internet because My Proven Home Business has combined the three most powerful ways to earn money.

1. Direct Sales
2. Internet Sales-everyone has a web store
3. 4x4 Matrix-5%-40% on group volume

Plus other ways I'm not going to bring up in this novella.

My skill sets are simple

1. Help People who want to earn money
2. Help customers who need our products
3. Web site programming
4. Graphic Design
5. SEO- Google "A Proven Home Business" I'll be in the top 10 in the organic link section (not sponsored for those who are new)
6. Effective communication
7. Effective Copy writing
8. For you women reading this Great Kisser
9. Great sense of humor

So if you made it down this far I hope my little story was entertaining enough for you to get a feel for who I am and what I bring to the table. I work my  Business full time from my home office and this is all I do.

My question to you is How can I best serve here and help each one of you achieve exactly what it is you are looking for?
