Interests
I'm all about making the world a better place. I try to put my own talents to work in every area of my life, including my network marketing business. Stretching my capacity is my life's work. I have a passion for the arts, (I'm an artist myself), for nature and the environment, education (learning from and educating others), and I adore kids and animals. I believe in experiencing "life to the full" which grows out of my love for God and all things spiritual.
Activities:
I'm an Internet marketer and business coach for Internet entrepreneurs. Love developing my marketing ideas and helping others to do the same. I seem to cook a lot -- dinner for friends, or hosting dinner parties. I'm a regular at the gym or ride my bike on the Riverside Drive bike path. Head to the Blue Ridge Mountains every month to manage the family farm and to see my mother. Love eating out with my boyfriend and enjoying what NYC has to offer. Do a lot of reading. It's my idea of a mental massage!

About Me
I'm a sales and marketing specialist for small business owners. Becoming an expert in my field was not without it's trials, but I discovered a very important truth along the way: My mistakes taught me much more than "playing it safe" or pretending I "had it all together." They taught me to get honest with myself in an industry where there's always something more to learn! My expert status is the result of cutting away what I don't do well and remaining true to my values and strengths.
I'm a people person and wordsmith with a creative mind and I believe that creating rapport and build quality relationships with your customers is the best way to make sales. I've struggling through the technical challenges of implementing an online sales funnel, but in the end, it's how you relate to your customers using words - either written or in person - that break down barriers and create "buyers." Automated systems can only take you so far, and then you still need to close the sale, especially for big-ticket items. It's about helping your customers to get what they really want, despite their fears and excuses (or even because of them!)
Traditional sales methods were my worst nightmare. I finally found a way to "re-invent" my approach to selling when I discovered Value Marketing, which is now the basis for all of my coaching, copy-writing, and teaching materials. It provides valuable (pun intended) insights that make selling simple and so much easier to do! Like how to give customers the solutions they desperately need (even if they don't know it), or closing a sale by listening to the problems and solving them (mutual), versus making the sale despite all protests (one way attack). You tell me, which do you prefer?
So if you've been struggling to make sales, or have your own fears about how to approach customers in an effective and genuine way, Value Marketing is the best place to start. It gives structure to your business model in four simple steps, and completely transforms selling into a positive interaction that produces both happy customers and more sales (money) for your business. I love helping my customers transform their business in such a positive way.
I know there are lots of "tough love" techniques out there, and I'm all for getting honest with your prospects, but why not decide you're there to help? In the end, that’s what we all want, right?
Make your next sale valuable,
Betsy
