Michael Teagles

Born in Coventry, England back in 1961.

At the age of 4 my parents took a deal to move to Australia for just £10.

Look at the cost now.

Just before I was 12 we all moved back to England.

That is my parents, my 2 elder sisters, 1 younger brother and the Australian addition to the family, my younger sister.

At the age of 12 I started working on a local farm.

We lived out in the countryside in a mining village, where all the men were expected to start work down the PIT.

I was different and wanted to stay on the farms.

So when I left school I was working FULL time on a local farm.

I stayed in this till I had just turned 25 then I moved in down to London where I started working as a self employed courier.

Very hard work and the hours at work WOW.

I will however say the money was GREAT.

After working in logistics for a couple of years my father and brother decided they wanted to be earning good money.

So they started in courier work as well.

Then the idea came up that if all 3 of us joined together back in the midlands we could start our own company. We did.

A great idea and with there being 3 of us then any ideas we came up with would have to have majority votes.

Well company colour was suggested and I was not happy so my van was painted a VERY bright colour.

This seemed to start the arguments BUT the customers would ALL remember and make complements about my van.

So with only 1 vote I managed to get things changed to my suggestions.

Then one day I went to a shop and bought a phone/fax.

Remember those old things.

I placed it in the middle of the room on the floor and had arranged friends of mine to send faxes containing lots of information.

When the other 2 saw these faxes streaming in they changed their tune and decided this was FANTASTIC.

Not long after starting work as a courier I was drawing up plans for an overnight parcel company.

Then one day while the 3 of us was working together a LARGE company came to us and asked if we would be willing to join their overnight parcel company.

Again only 1 agreed, so off I went on my own to join this large company.

Everyone else in the family labelled me as crazy, as for each parcel the price was so low for delivery.

I had tried to explain it was about Service, Collections and obtaining customers.

They ignored me until I started to fly around the world with the profits I had starting making for this LOW price service.

Another large English company went to them and asked about overnight parcels and they jumped at it.

Thus making them directly compete against myself.

Well I managed to travel then move to USA.

My family did not have the same understanding and they failed.

I worked as a General Manager in Florida, Sales and a Lawn Technical Specialist.

Now I am back in England.

In 2007 I started to try and build a business from home.

I was spending so much time just sending out emails asking for permission.

The response was very poor.

What was I doing wrong?

Why did this fail?

So after spending money buying all these leads and not getting off the ground, I wanted to hide my head deep into the ground.

Just before Christmas 2008 I was searching online and I found this link.

It made me question my decision for hiding; maybe I was not at fault, was it the way I was being taught?

Was it because I did not even know any basics about internet marketing?

YES, it was and now I have started to make sites online so I can help others, before they give up and want to hide their heads under the ground.

I have even started to build my own website; this will develop as time goes by so any followers can see I am progressing with my knowledge.

I thought I was too old to learn, but I did not want to admit my lack of basic knowledge.

My life is so much better now as I am with a fantastic and very helpful group.
