Interests:
I do some beading,it relaxes me and keeps up my dexterity. Reading and learning new things is another interest of mine. I enjoy cooking organic meals for my friends and myself,I have become aware of our food we eat, so I cook the best I can find. I love music. I am one of those roaming followers(a Dead Head) of the Grateful Dead, now settled in,only to chance upon a show once in a while.

Activities:
As I mentioned I love music, so when the opportunity arises, I jump on it. I like festivals as well. Going out to the lake on my friends boat is fun too. I like to garden and my chickens keep me in organic eggs. Walks in the forest, which is my back yard, is a pleasure, and of course I love to fish.

About Me

This is my why...

Growing up for me was a little different then all my friends. My early years were pretty normal. Then at about 11 or 12 my father found out he had cancer and would have to have his leg amputated. I didn't quit understand at the time what that meant to us as a family.

We lived in California and my parents decided to move closer to his family for support. They soon found out that family does not always think you need the support you seek and all but let him know there would be no hand outs. He was not asking for a hand out just family to back him as he went through treatments and surgery.

We moved back to C.A. There they found the City of Hope Hospital where they did his treatments and surgery. Most of which was free. He recovered quickly. Even his doctor's were amazed. So he got to come home sooner than expected. It was long sleepless nights for him though. The pain was so bad he would get up at night and walk the floor.

He also knew he had to do some kind of work to take of the family so he went back to his last employer to see if he could get his old job back. It was not to be. His old boss said it would be too much for him to do. He was an auto mechanic. It had be a good job. paid for many thing before the terrible news. Now he had to find a way. He went to other shops with the same results. No one would hire a "handicapped" man. That was back when handicapped people just didn't get much say to what they could do for work. So what to do for income?

He started tinkering around with small motors. Lawnmowers, edgers and gocarts. The next thing you know he made a track in the field next to the house and he's fling around it as fast as he can in that darn gocart. He had a lot of fun and it was also a way to try and out run the pain of the surgery.

Well as time go's on he starts fixing everyone's lawnmowers. He's real good at it. Before you know it he's got two or three that he picked up somewhere and starts selling them. Three becomes five then eight then well you get the picture. Next he starts fixing bicycles and lawnmowers. He had made it. A business that he enjoyed and brought money to pay bills, buy food and even money to play on. We would load up the trailer with our "toys" and go play in the dirt. It was great!

I do not regret my life growing up. It tough me some values in life and to never give up when you "know" you can do something if you just work hard for it. He inspired me but I never really got it till I started looking for my "why". You've got to be determined to got what you set out to do. Never give up your dreams.

School...
I went to school in C.A. Got though high school, almost. Finished with a G.E.D. only because my dad said something that made me not give up and give in. I was not a bad kid in school but the boys dean of the school had it out for me after the only thing I ever got in trouble for. He told me I would have to go to continuation school if I did not straighten up. It sounded like a threat so I told him okay I'll go. He made it sound like it was the worse place I could possibly go. I really liked the continuation school and did better than regular school.
Jobs...
The first job I ever had was at Winchell's Donuts in Rosemead C.A. I hated those things after a while and I didn't think that was possible. From there I bounced around from job to job. I did finally found a job at Mannheim's Auto Auction I really liked. I got to drive some pretty cool cars but something was still missing. Never really feeling like that was what I was meant for. So I did that until I moved to Oregon. Did house cleaning with a good friend that had moved here ten years before me. I did not like that work but it payed pretty well. I found another auto auction and quit working for my friend and started at this new auction. That was ok for a while. They were so far behind the other one I had worked for it made me think I was placed back in time. Then it came time to decide on what to do for mom. She had had few strokes and the one that put her in a nursing facility made me think, what is the right thing to do? So I went through the state and became a in-home-care provider for her. I did that for her until 2009 when her tired body gave up and moved on. It was the best thing I ever did so far. This story will have to wait for later. As it was magic.

What Motivated Me to be in a Home Business...
Well as I said earlier, something seemed to be missing, so the search was on. I looked and hunted but until I got my computer I had no idea what I was looking for. I started with little things. Peeping into this and then that added Yahoo, then just started adding this and that then Tagged and Facebook but it was the Tagged site that I picked a friend that had the kind of books I liked on their profile and this one little thing I just had to click on. Well I had already tried more than one internet business but this one thing, that was about Napoleon Hill, had a link at the end if you wanted could go to.Well I did and what I learned I wanted to know more. So I started checking the net trying to find the bad side of the opportunity but there was none to be found. I looked for a while before I decided to join. You see I had been stung before for rushing into one after another trying to find that one that would work. I just wish I had been offered this one first. It is the best I have found. I feel like we are one huge family that grows in size every day. I would not leave this community for anything. If I had to hock everything to keep the flow going I would. I love my "family".

What keeps me productive...
My business keeps me quite productive in moving forward inch by inch. Baby steps at first until the momentum picks up and before you know it, wow!I do something with it every day even if it just something small in the eyes of others.I know I did it and to me movement in the forward position is great.

Goals for the Future...
To give to those less fortunate. I've always done what I could for others but I would love to do it on a grader scale. I don't like to see people suffer. Clean water, food and a place to live is what some folks dream of. I would like this for all who suffer needlessly. Of course I desire to see my dreams come true as well. For with out those dreams coming true not much is else will move me further to the life I deserve to live. To be, do and have anything I desire.
