About Me
Hello, my name is Jawaune Saad, and I want to thank you for reading my biok. I would like to tell you a little about myself since you will be getting to know me through my written text. I was born in Queens, NY in 1978 and raised by a single mother and I was born with a terrible defect of being legally blind in both of my eyes. Just in case you don’t know what legally blind means it means having vision that’s bad enough that is causes a problem with almost everything you do. When I grew up I was the kid that everyone loved to pick on. After I graduated from high school I could not afford to attend a university but I was able to get an Associate’s Degree in the field of electronics from technical school. Even finishing high school and technical school was a huge challenge for me because I always had to sit extremely close to the chalk board.
As I got older I was never able to fulfill any of my true dreams and you’re going to laugh when you hear this but I always wanted to be a truck driver. I just loved the fact that I could have total control over a huge machine like an 18 wheeler truck and I could travel across the country. As my vision problem became aware I realized that I could kiss that dream good bye and that’s why I ended up graduating in the field of electronics. I never did have a true love for electronics but I figured that it might be something I liked since I liked taking things a part. I did do electronics for about 4 years but eventually had to give it up due to my eyesight.
I finally realized that electronics wouldn’t work for me so I did telemarketing and customer service for about 6 years Customer service was also extremely tough because I always had to look very close to the computer screens I literally kept my eyeballs about 6 inches away. During the time that I’ve been working I always tried different home based business on the side because I could never think of a true career out there that I loved that my vision would allow me to do. I always stayed motivated no matter what because I could not see myself working customer service for the next 30 years of my life and I was sick and tired of being cursed out by customers.
I always knew that I wanted to be successful in network marketing because it was the only thing that didn’t require a lot of risk compared to trying to start a traditional business and it offered true residual income. After 5 years of trial and error I finally began to be successful in network marketing and finally learned what works. I will admit that I did have a lot of help and some of my mentors are Robert Keyosaki, Gino Niccoli and Terry Duff. I am now seeing great results from my current business and I don’t want to be biased so I won’t mention the name of it in this book. I would say to anyone that has a handicap like me that if I can do it, anyone can do it. I had every excuse in the book. I even thought that being a black male would cause problems. It’s what’s between your ears that counts and God has given you exactly what you need to be successful.
