How did I get here?

 I am not really sure what my plan was or even if I had one but it has been an interesting journey. I am Jay Neal and I have been off and on in the network marketing and MLM for about 20 years. I did it part time with several different companies and made some money with a couple of them. I struggled and struggled with trying to build my business. I have been to so many hotel meetings that I don't want to even remember. I have done meetings in living rooms and done cold calling and cold contacting. I still can not understand how asking someone while you are getting gas if they would be interested in working with you in a million dollar business. When you are at the gas pumps with a 1978 pinto and you are getting $3.00 worth of gas with change from your ash tray and they are in a BMW, well that never worked too well for me. I sold products like soap, hair care, and nutritional products, long distance services and many other things. I really had no plan other than I new I wanted to work for myself and get rich. Obviously it was not supporting me and I decided to blame my up line and the opportunity. I was in one opportunity twice and managed to make a few hundred dollars but with no real help. All the up line would do is have me read think and grow rich and other pump me up books but no real help on building my business. I found out that it is not the opportunity or the up line it was me! I had to get my mind set in the right place and build a plan of attack and get educated first so that I could have the business of my dreams.

I have had many careers in my life!

I was in the U.S. Army for eight and a half years and I loved it. I was going to be a career soldier. I did very well while I was in and I only got out to go to college and then I was going back in. Well a friend talked me into being a police officer and I never went to college. I enjoyed being a police officer but I ended up moving on to commercial diving school because you could make so much money with that. Well while I was in school the oil industry shut down and there was little to no work. I ended up working as an assistant manager of a scuba diving shop. I moved back to my home state and went back into law enforcement and worked for over twelve years before I was able to quit. The whole time I was in and out of different business opportunities and other get rich quick schemes totaling over 20 years. I managed to build up to about $1200 dollars a month but it was too much work for me.

I saw the light!

While working full time as a police officer as well as several other jobs just to keep the electricity on, I was thinking one night on midnight shift at about three in the morning. I was tired and was always having to work on my days off or they were changing my schedule to cover shift or because of in-service training. I could not take any vacation when I wanted too and I had over three hundred hours saved up. I was sick and tired of working and really getting nothing for it. I thought to myself, what would be the perfect business? Well lets see, first thing now that there is internet I would not want a store front because then I would be tied down to certain hours and have big rent and would have to be there all the time or maybe even have employees. So it would have to be an internet business so that it would always be open and I would not have to be there. I did not want to stock product like I had done before. If a product was involved then it would have to be dropped shipped so I did not have to touch it. Now remember I said what would be the perfect business so follow along with me. It needed to be a product that everyone or all most everyone wanted and needed and would have to have no matter what. With the economy doing what it is now that is even more important. It had to be affordable for both me to have and the product had to be priced so anyone could afford it. The income potential had to be enormous so that it could support me and my family with nothing else, for ever and ever. I wanted to retire as soon as possible so I could enjoy my family while I still could. Well this could not be possible could it??? Well it can and is possible with network marketing! I found a business opportunity that I thought would fit these requirements and in March of 2009 I quit my job as a police officer that I slaved away at for over twelve years.

Where am I now?

Well, after lots of trial and error I got myself going on the right track. I got myself educated but buying lots of on line courses and ebooks. I read and listened to all kinds of gurus about how to build my business. I have spent thousands of dollars on my education and it was well worth it. Now I write ebooks and give seminars on traffic generation as well as business building strategies. I found that it is not the business opportunity as much as it is your mind set and your ability to educate yourself. I have heard people talk trash about their up-lines but really you should not rely on your up-line you should educate yourself. There are a lot of up-lines that are as lost as you are, so read and educate yourself on the business and you will see a big difference in your business. Now in March of 2008 I quit my job as a police officer for over 12 years and I am so glad that I did! I love working for myself. I don’t have to worry about having to work when I thought I was going to be off. Or asking someone if I can have a day off! If you are struggling or of your business is not where you want it to be then educate yourself and ask someone for help. If your up-line can’t help you then there are many people like me that are willing to help you. My business now is global I have affiliates in South America, Central America, all over the USA as well as Canada, Europe and about to expand into China. Working for yourself is the only way to set yourself up for retirement so work your business like it is yours, because it is!!!
