About Me
My goal was to be a mentor. The definition of a mentor is “A wise and trusted counselor or teacher”.I wanted to be able to help others reach their dreams and goals. I wanted them to think beyond just the money and find what truly makes them happy. I think so many don’t even “go there” because they don’t see any possible way in their current situation.
For so long, I wasn’t able to be a mentor to others because I wasn’t having success reaching my goals and dreams either. It wasn’t from lack of trying. (I’ve since learned to remove “trying” from my vocabulary – but that is another story.)
I kept searching for the "holy grail" of internet marketing. I followed "gurus" and used systems and tools but I still was not having the success so many others were seeming to have. But things changed suddenly for me when I attracted into my life a mentor unlike any that I had crossed paths with before. Unlike all the others he was willing to help me (for free) without an agenda or trying to “sell” me. Wow – that was huge! He had a true servants heart.
He shared with me some shocking mlm truths and reassured me that I did not have to change who I was or project an “image” that was anything other than my true self. With this valuable information and the resources he directed me to I knew my search was over. I am now a thriving and growing mentor. I am still working on the “wise” part and always will. I love learning and growing as a person and a mentor.
Now that I have learned how to be a mentor with a true servants heart also, I am extending my hand to you - no agenda – no selling!
You in?!

Here's some more about me...
I’m happily married and have a son that we thoroughly enjoy. He got his imagination and curiosity from me. Thank goodness it is balanced with his dad’s good common sense.

I was born, raised and currently live in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. You would say I’m a country gal through and through. I love the Blue Ridge Mountains and hope to always call them home. I do love to travel and explore new places but always enjoy seeing those mountains when I arrive home.

Granny, my dad’s mother, lived close to us and I was at her house probably more than my own. She is who immediately comes to mind when asked who my hero is. She didn’t know a stranger and would make all who came around feel immediately welcome. She had a wonderful sense of humor and although she had some health issues she never complained. She was always cooking, canning, gardening or planting flowers and singing or humming a happy song at the same time. I was her faithful assistant and was there to help however I could. When she wasn’t busy with those things she had her hands busy making country crafts like crocheting, quilting, or making little fun crafts like beaded angels. She had a true passion for life and it showed in all that she did.
I have such fond memories of her and also her parents. My great-grandmaw and pappaw lived into their mid-nineties. I was lucky enough to have them in my life up through high school. I know having these three precious people in my life and all my extended family is the main reason I have such strong appalachian roots and the values that I do.
I was raised going to a small Baptist church where the attendance was around 75 each week. I am also grateful to my mother for making sure we were raised in church. I am now active in a small church which is about the same size as the one I grew up in.
Life can be an adventure or a drudgery, it's all in the way you look at it. I choose to see each day as a gift. Sure I have some real challenges but I am grateful every day.
