Jen Seabrooke

I graduated in 1982 from University of New Hampshire with an English Major and Music Minor. I briefly lived in Sarasota, FL after college and then returned to New England in 1984. I moved to Portsmouth, NH in December of 1984. One of my favorite jobs was with a Paging Company, MobileMedia Paging. I was the "Beeper Lady" when that technology was little known. Later I worked for ARCH Paging and became one of the top reps in New England. I was married in 1999 and in 2000 got pregnant with my one and only child. I was 41 when I became a "Mom". After 9-11, and after 6 months employment with GreenPages in Kittery, ME, I left that to start my own Child Care business from our home. I wanted to be at Home with our own child and earn additional income for our family.

I created a wonderful business in which I felt like I was "living bliss". In 2005, the family unit drastically changed and I became a single parent. In 2006 I moved to Portsmouth, NH with my child...renovated a home and saw my daughter into kindergarten.

Since then I worked for a start-up technology company and was laid off Sept 2009 when investment funding dried up. I substitute taught a couple days per week consistently thru the school year and then March 2010 decided to put my full energies with SendOutCards.

I have been attending Network Groups, Chamber functions...getting "out there" meeting people and making a "name" for myself again. For years I was The Beeper Lady..and now, I plan to be the SendOutCards Lady. I realize it will take time to build my business. I feel like I have ben spinning my wheels without much financial progress...which is why I am thankful for an organization like The Better Networker for training and guidance.

In my professional career, I have worked for start-up technology companies and "tech" companies both as inside sales and out. After several "lay-offs" from several companies...and now at age 50, I am realizing that I need to take full reins of my financial destiny. I need the flexibility to work from home and stay within a 30 mile radius of my child. I am excited about the financial potential of SendOutCards and for building relationships with other Network Marketers across the globe.
