In 2009 I lost my 9-5 job and decided to go it alone with a franchise business which promoted local businesses on and offline. This is how I got in to social media so when I lost the franchise (through no fault of my own) a year later, I signed up with Worldwide Partnership and another franchise through someone I connected with on Facebook! So quite by accident I have fallen in to sales and marketing, which I never would have dreamt of!
