About Me
32 Year Old Executive Sales Manager and mom, with Fortune Hi Tech Marketing.
We live in Musekgon, Michigan a smallish town right on Lake Michigan. I love it. Love the beach. Lake Michigan is what I think, the best thing to the ocean, without the salt!
I spend a lot of time with my kids since, I'm home with them.
Elton and I both read a lot, and listen to a lot of motivational cds, filling our heads with as much good stuff as possible.(Jim Rohn is one of my favorites right now!) We both like to eat out, and see movies, travel and spend time with our friends and families.
We've been involved in this company for 3 years, and are able to be full time. Its truly been life changing. Being able to stay home with my twins was the most important thing for me, and this business enabled me to do that. I never wanted anyone else raising my kids!
Elton and I, both came from the mortgage/banking industry...most of you know how that is now. Yuck. We actually started our own mortgage company in Aug. and joined Fortune in Nov. of 2005. ( Thank God for that.) We lived in Jackson Michigan at the time, and the mortgage crisis was just beginning to crumble, and our business crumbled with it. We had lost everything we put into that business, but we had started a business that wouldn't crumble, and would continue to pay us no matter what.
Just so anyone that is reading this knows, my background in network marketing, came from watching my parents for 8 years, work another networking business very hard. 8 years they did everything their upline told them, but in the end...products that were over priced, and people that weren't honest, caused my parents to give up the ship. I was very disgruntled with Networking to say the least. Anything that anyone every said to me about any company, I thought was a scam. For sure, there wasn't an ethical company out there.
When we were approached with Fortune I gave my friend an ear full for even asking me to look at something, but we reluctantly went to hear about it, for a free bowl of chili. I'm so thankful we went. That night changed out life. When we left, all we could say was, "well that makes sense." The concept of using things we were already using, but now could get paid back each month, really only made sense. Why wouldn't we do that? The fact that this was services and not products, and that they were not over priced, and that the founder of the company, Paul Orberson put a cap on the profits of the company of 10%, was all the reason we needed to get going.
Also, for anyone that shows the business to someone, and they don't sign up on the spot, have no fear! We left, and had a meeting the next night, and then sign up the following day.
This business comes down to simplicity. I think when we think about things too much is when we screw it up! If we teach people to not say anything, and use the tools like, dvd or web presentations, then let the upline help...people's chances of success right out of the gate is so much better. The people in our group that use us have a much higher ratio of success than the one's that just try and tell people about the business. So, the key is simple!
Fortune is unlike anything we had ever looked at, with a founder that is doing this for us, and not to make profits for himself. Very different than anything I had ever looked at.
My husband and I are looking for people that want to do something different than the average person. We are looking for people that aren't afraid to step up and step out for their families. If you want to change your financial picture, contact me! I'd love to give you my story and let you know what this has done for us.
