Joan Bristow

Greetings and Welcome!

I was born in Hollywood, California, and grew up in Southern California with my parents and younger brother. After graduating high school, I studied cosmetology and practiced hair dressing for nine years before embarking on my new career as a mommy. David and I were married for seven years before our first child was born, and that eventually led to a family of five kids. I was your 'die-hard' mom, doing everything from growing a vegetable garden and baking bread, to home schooling all our kids.

Now our family is grown, enabling me to pursue entrepreneurial interests.  I'm actually involved with two companies, the first being United First Financial, and the second, Send Out Cards.  It was after I became a client with UFirst, that motivated me to get involved as an independent agent.  I saw how their product was going to help us eliminate debt in record time and save thousands of dollars in interest, all without impacting our current standard of living.  It's exciting to share this kind of hope with others.

I'm also a card sender.  I recently got involved with Send Out Cards because of realizing the importance of touching people's lives on both a personal and a professional level...with actual real cards.  Send Out Cards saves me a lot of time, and it's a whole lot of fun, too!
