Got my start in business in a 3-piece suit with a Big 5 accounting firm. Young CPA bouncing between corporate towers keeping clients happy. The US economy hit the skids, and the firm sent me chasing cushy projects in the developing world.
Great experience as they say, but I needed more. I wanted to be the boss, so over the next 13 years I built an international trading business headquartered in Hong Kong. Theoretically, I was king of the castle. In reality, I was virtually at the mercy of major players who paid their bills only when they were good and ready. Eventually, the frustration of dealing with those guys got me looking at network marketing where I found a home and a couple of great mentors.
Became a fan of residual income. The stuff you get even if you retire. Best model on the planet. Unfortunately, not everyone hits paydirt. In fact, most don't cause the cards are stacked against them from the start. And even if you're playing with the right deck, you won't go big time without the right mindset.
Looking back, I now know that I struck it lucky with the right place, right time sort of circumstances. Well, it wasn't all luck...it also took commitment and work, which I was happy to provide. Next chapter. Along comes the internet. Ten years ago, nobody had it. Today, it's everywhere and over the past year I've been putting it to good use. The internet and what we call "attraction marketing" provide network marketers with a 2nd option...and can be the ticket for those opposed to traditional prospecting methods. My report won't go there, but I have...and my University will take you there step-by-step.
