Hello, my name is Josephine Payge and I’m a personal development fan and online business owner. I am also a blogger and social media aficionado in the home business arena.

Over the years I have developed several strategies for enjoying life to the full and dotted around my blog you will find lots of information about what has worked for me. I am passionate about helping you find what works for you and if I can assist with that I will be extremely pleased!

So first, here’s a bit about me…

I am of the baby boomer generation, born in 1950 in a small town here in the north of England in a family of five siblings. As you can imagine I have been through lots of ups and lots of downs over the last 60 years. My teenage years coincided with the hippy era so inevitably I found myself caught up in anti-Vietnam war demonstrations and the women’s movement.

Then I of course went to India so that I could “find myself” and do what the Beatles and other famous people had done! I wandered without a care or an aim for almost two years. During that time I lived on the Goan beaches and climbed the Himalayas blazing a trail for the young ones that would inevitably follow. Eventually I had had enough of my hedonistic lifestyle and so I learned to chant and fast and meditate. That’s a whole book in itself… Even though I believed I was on the right track to living an enjoyable life it turned out that it wasn’t so simple after all. More of that later.

Among my many jobs I have been a pastry chef, full time mother back in the day, a travel business owner, a body building coach, a Pilates and Gyrotonic teacher and I have spent most of my professional life in the health and wellness industry. I was never an entrepreneur then but always quite successful.

Family is very important

The births of my three beautiful daughters are my biggest wins. They are all grown up up now and living their own successful lives. I am also blessed with three of the cutest grand kids anyone could wish to have. Family is very important to me and the source of much of my joy, I love nothing more than to get together, cook great food and catch up on each others’ lives.

Life hasn’t always been easy and of course there have been several low points probably too many to mention but then again they are the usual trials that most of us experience over a lifetime.

Financial ruin

At the end of 2008 we were facing financial ruin, almost lost our beautiful home, and that’s when I stumbled across an online, personal development, network marketing business. Now at that time I had only used the internet for email and the occasional search. So it was all totally new to me. I had no idea that there were tons of people making a living via the internet. I knew next to nothing about social media or blogging. Oh boy, was I in for a learning curve!

I have discovered that being successful online is not as easy as some would make it out to be. Beware of anyone who tells you differently. So this is why I am here today. I have found my way around the net, I have created an online presence and I am on my way to earning my living from my internet based business. Having said that I still have a lot more to learn not least because the internet is always evolving, always changing.
