About Me

You asked for a little advice, and I'm sure you're getting a lot, but I'll give you some advice based on my own life experience.

I speant almost $9,600 on coaching by the "Heavy Hitters".  I joined every company that promised me they were different and that I'd become successful if I just signed on that dotted line.  Another $10,000 down the drain...

Needless to say, I failed.

I happened across Success In 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy.  It was free (something that I REALLY needed at that point in my life).  It didn't mention any company or product, and didn't try to sell me on anything.  It trained me.  It coached me.  It EDUCATED me more than any of those "Heavy Hitters" for absolutely no cost to me.  And the information I learned was so much more and Higher quality.

Now I'll admit, there are TONS of educational E-Books out there that are great, but honestly a lot of them have affiliate links.  They're promoting SOMETHING.  Trust them at your own risk, guys.  They profit on every recommendation they make.

But if you want a truely educational, free, and non-promoting resource, I'd highly recommend downloading and reading this book.  It will save you from the years of frustration and failure that I, and many many others have had to endure.

If you want to become educated and informed, then here's the link.  http://www.MLMHeros.com

Hey Juanita! Wow, Maine, that's a cool state! I suppose you guys have the same kind of weather as MN. It's windy and cold, and the Vikings lost their playoff game. Anyway, it's great to find friends so fast! I just joined today, January 4, 2009!

Hey,

I just read a post about reading that got me thinking, why not a book club here on BN? So, I just created a group and would love it if you'd join.

Whoever opts in this week, we'll vote on a book for January - I'm thinking something short and sweet - and get started. We'll pick a book for February in the last week of January. These can be new or classic titles. The books are a catalyst for all of us to share ideas.

Again, please join BetterNetworker Books, and post your book ideas on the group page.

Thanks,

Toña

Juanita,
Congratulations on the chance to CREATE a Happy New Year!

I was thinking to myself a few days ago and realized I missed you around my content. Lol. You are so mysterious....but a great friend. You are as pure in heart as it comes..............I hope you know we're going to work together in 2009!!!

YOUR friend for Life...lol

Hi Juanita,

I am learning even more about you just from the guest comments. I admire a person who speaks their mind, even when others might not agree. I have found that when I do that, speaking authentically what I feel, I also simultaneously open up a new space into which others can grow. If we are all saying "yes" without never daring to say that we see something in a different light, we actually imprison others (besides ourselves). Anyway, just a thought ... I would love to have you check out my profile and give me some feedback and sign my guest book. I am open to any suggestions, as I am new to Better Networker and have been going through the suggested steps for set-up. Happy New Year! Dotti

I can tell your heart from the number of guestbook entries. I have never understood why some people nerver learn that we were put on this Planet to help each other.
Did you ever hear this explanation of Heaven and Hell?
A man dies, and his Guardian Angel tells him that he come to Heave, bur first he has to take a look at the Hell he missed. He opens adoor, and there are thousands of people at a huge banquet table overladen with food. They have these long, 6-foot spoons, and they are frantically trying to feed themselves, but the food keeps falling off before it reaches their mouths. Then, he opens the door that leads to Heaven. Same scene. Same table. Same spoons.

But the people are using them to FEED EACH OTHER!!!
And, yes...we will talk soon.
Thanks for being my First Friend on this site, and the first to sign my Guestbook.
Hey, check out www.squidoo.com/lifeshouldbefun

hey Juanita just stopping by to say hi and to wish us both a successful 2009, almost here!

Hi, Juanita,
Thanks for being a friend. We are on different coasts. I am in Oregon.
I appreciate the way you speak out on issues. It helps so much when people are forthright. No hype can save us who haven't the experience surfing the web for online businesses.
Keep up the good work!
Yours sincerely
bjake

Hey Juanita...thank you for the friend request! I've been noticing you participation in this community from afar but dared not to step to you without a profile picture.

And now look; within moments of me adding you you asked me for friendship...awesome! I'm sure we'll be speaking soon!

was only trying to help...

Juanita,

I did not mean at all to imply you were dumb by joining those. It's just $10,000 is a lot to have gone through in waste on the internet and a lot of people, including my father, had joined at one time or another a cash gifting program simply because they were mislead by hype and cliche advertising online and not because they were dumb.
