Judy Martin

With a name like Judy, you can pretty much figure I was born in the 40's. I attended Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA; Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD; Albany Junior College, Albany, GA; and ultimately received my B.S. degree in Nursing from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. My career as a nurse has been rewarding and varied including Critical Care, Emergency Room, Flight Nursing, Transplant coordinator, and Organ Procurement. A couple highlights in my career were 2 trips with the Loma Linda University Overseas Heart Surgery Team. The first was a 3 month assignment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; the second was a 3 week trip to China as part of an exchange program for Chinese Physicians. Some people say my claim to fame is having been one of the primary nurses caring for "Baby Fae", the infamous baby who received a baboon heart transplant in 1984 as an attempt to save her life from a fatal heart defect.

For a number of years I have been interested in establishing a business I could do from home. There are many things I would like to do without being tied down to a regular job. I explored many opportunities without success. Now that I have retired from Nursing I have more time to spend developing my own business. My primary areas of involvement are with Wealth Masters International, and Fotoflections.com, my photography blog. One of my passions is making note cards with my photographs mounted on the front. I am exploring ways to offer these on the internet without it being excessively time consuming.
