I currently work as a student loan debt counselor at one of the top four student loan servicers in the United States. My company has been contracted by the US Department of Education to collect student loan debt payments. If payments cannot be made, we offer assistance options in the form of deferments, forbearances, and reduced monthly payment plans.

As a debt repayment counselor, I experience first hand the frustrating fact that our public schools are failing in the area of teaching true financial education.

Every day, I listen to sincere, often heartbreaking stories of individuals who cannot pay for their cost of 'higher' education due to either unemployment, foreclosure, or divorce.

More than once I have listened to sorrowful, frustrated, and often angry borrowers who think that 'it wasn't worth it'.

On almost every call, I am personally reminded that being an entrepreneur, especially an Internet Marketer or MLMer, and an investor in silver and gold assets are the best ways to combat our failing economy and hedge against financial failure.
