Kafi Tamu Burris

Greetings to all!  My name is Kafi Tamu Burris and I am the ORIGINAL Rat Race Refugee!  I am a network marketing coach and mentor, helping network marketers take advantage of the current MLM explosion.  There has never been a better time to be involved in network marketing, and I feel privileged to be a part of the success that so many MLMers are now experiencing.  I have been an entrepreneur for most of my adult life, and I was able to exit the Rat Race and go full-time in my business and investment ventures in 2005.  I have had an absolutely incredible ride; I've had tremendous success, particularly in my most recent business as a 4x currency trader.  I've travelled the world, networked with some incredible people, and made some lasting friends and business contacts.

But I've also had some heart-wrenching failures.  Much of what I have learned as a business owner came through good ole fashioned trial and error, and this means of growth often comes with consequences.  I've been broke, homeless, bankrupt, and down for the count.  I've had to resurrect and re-build several businesses (in some cases, just so that I could pay back loans!), and some of my ventures just never panned out.  Had it not been for my strong spiritual values and my determination to experience all the freedom and independence that entrepreneurship can offer, I would have quit a long time ago.  And obviously, that would have been a huge mistake!

Many successful network marketing business coaches have chosen to include some type of mental/spiritual/philosophical system with their development training; I have chosen to lead with it.  You see, the most important lesson I learned along the way had nothing to do with auto-responders or search engine optimization.  It had nothing to do with blogging or video and article marketing.  It had nothing to do with social networking, copy writing, compensation plans, warm vs. cold markets, or any of that stuff.  Don't get me wrong...these things are important, and there are lots of folks out there that have joined me in the quest to transform network marketers into internet network marketers.  But the most important lesson I learned had to do with POSTURE and MENTAL FOCUS!  When your mind is in the right place, life and business become effortless; without the proper mental attitude, all that you accomplish (if you get anything done at all!) will be a struggle.  I can tell you from experience that you can have massive success without getting your mind in the right place, no doubt.  But can you sustain that success?  Can you improve upon it?  Can you do it without great effort and expense?  Conversely, I can also tell you from experience that you can have effortless success, even though you may appear to be doing all the wrong things!

I now spend my time "paying it forward" by helping struggling network marketers build their businesses.  Although I've been successful in other areas, I chose MLM to pass on my expertise because this business model appeals to people that would not otherwise venture into entrepreneurship.  Some folks just don't have the discipline required to be a forex trader; others don't have the capital or credit to invest in real estate, but anyone can be a network marketing master.  I thoroughly enjoy sharing my experiences and insights with others, and each connection enhances what I am able to pass on.  My message to entrepreneurs is this: Changing your mental approach to your business can be the difference between struggling at network marketing and creating an easy MLM enterprise.  Let me share with you what I've learned!
