About Me
Hi everyone!
(August 2011) I figured it's time for another update!
Over the course of the last couple of years, I've "fired" a few marketing programs I belonged to that were long on hype and short on delivery, and realized that at the end of the day - no matter what the promises are - success is going to depend on my applying the solid strategies I've been learning via places like Better Networker and a few other, serious tools that I've learned to use. I now completely avoid allowing myself to be enticed to join the "next best thing" (which can prove - at least in my case - to be a time and money waster. I'm finding that good ol' fashioned focus and hard work still seems to bring the best results!).
I am more passionate than ever about my writing, and posting valuable content BEFORE jumping into how to monetize the sites.
I've now got a bunch of fun affiliate niche market sites that I'm enjoying working on... And I definitely have a LOT of work to do! A few are:
www.SelfDevelopmentAndGrowth.com
www.SelfDevelopmentStrategies.com - where you can get my free Goal Planning Guide and Yes! I actually DID write it myself! :)
www.BuyingAndSellingToMakeMoney.com which is my husband's blog that I'm building for him
www.LearnHowToDecorateACake.com and most recently,
Bring the Fresh Info, Progress, and Results blog and
The Flex Belt review and info blog
That should keep me busy for a while!
So, that's it for my August 2011 update! The rest of the story below is old hat... :)
I guess that I have always known my path would be vastly different from others I knew growing up in suburban New Jersey. I am not sure what anyone expected me to do, but I doubt that it included the things I wound up doing!
About the only thing that I did according to Hoyle was attend college and got a degree (a B.A. in English). I know...I know... "What on earth are you going to do with an English degree? You'd better become a teacher..." Aaghaghagh! I ran for the hills! Literally!
I wound up in Colorado during the summers, having a blast as I and my first husband worked at an exclusive guest ranch outside Rocky Mountain National Park.
Then, one thing led to another, and we wound up bicycle touring in New Zealand for about 4-5 months - which brought us the next year (1984) to McMurdo Station in Antarctica. Although my first husband and I parted ways, I kept going to "the Ice" as we fondly referred to it.
I spent several Antarctic summer seasons as a civilian contract worker in McMurdo (shoveled a lot of snow, worked in the sheet metal department - one of the most fun jobs and fun groups of people I have ever known- worked as an admin assistant scheduling the helicopter operations, and finally - in 1990-91 - spent a 12-month period to include what is called the "winter over" in the old bio lab - long since gone...)
I had the honor of seeing and experiencing many things in the Antarctic that most people in the world don't.
Another relationship brought me to New Hampshire - and though that marriage did not work out, I am extremely grateful for the subsequent turn of events.
If not for that, I never would have embarked on the Good Ship Entrepreneurism, would never have met my wonderful husband, John, who shares my entrepreneurial spirit, values, and passion for natural health and helping others - and a host of other things that make our marriage and partnership so incredibly wonderful.
So, although I am somewhat rooted (but not rooted very deeply since we're working on selling our house) in the beautiful White Mountains of Northern NH, John & I have an absolute passion for:
1) Travel - we love traveling. February 2010 shows us once again beachfront in Myrtle Beach, SC. If it weren't for our home based business ventures, we would not be in a position to leave the cold and snowy north.
We also love GRN - both the product and the marketing plan, because it is based in truth and integrity - and has a true, stand-alone product that does NOT depend on recruiting others to sell. Our http://www.FineResortVacation.com site is growing - and this site markets the product, and does not mention the business opportunity at all. For marketing the business opportunity, we like the system we've been using here: http://www.PresentingGRN.com) - but the key is, that we are are actually implementing the stuff we're learning.
2) Helping Others - financially AND spiritually. Our dream is to have the "Tremblay Family Foundation," where we can REALLY help others. We are on our way. (no website yet - it still exists in our imagination!)
3) Alternative Health & Healing
4) Spiritual Endeavors (becoming self realized and God centered)
So... all of this is kind of what brought us here to Magnetic Sponsoring. We are great believers in "attraction marketing," and self-development. We love learning about - and learning to use - the laws of this wonderful Universe.
We are intensely grateful for all the teachers and circumstances that have come our way (and continue to come into our path), and we look forward to getting to know other members of this community - as well as spreading wonderful opportunities throughout the world.
Thanks for letting me tell my story! :) Kath
