LaTonya Malinconico

Born with a microphone in her hand, LaTonya Malinconico, aka Katurah.ARiel, comes from Houston, TX, a place she holds very dear to her heart. “I began to write spoken word poetry in 1995 and Emcee at the tender age of 14, so almost all of my life, I have dreamed of being on stage, in front of people’s faces, in the light” she says. Soon after, in 1997, Malinconico became a devoted hip hop artist under the mentorship of Eleazar Tha Last Testament. This lead to her becoming the First Lady Emcee of the highly followed Underground Hip Hop group “Secta 7″.

Malinconico has a BA in Pre-Law with concentrations in Political Science and Speech Communications and is currently pursuing her MBA in Business with a concentration in Marketing. So this Emcee is not only talented, but very smart. And after all of those years of schooling and working in the music industry, whether it was on stage or behind the scenes, she finally decided to step out and venture more into the business world.

So, in 2008 she launched her Web Design and Graphics specialty service in conjunction with her husband’s production company, Metatron Productions. In addition to this, in 2010 Malinconico began an ongoing project called “The Eshet Chayil Collection”, which offers trendy and modest fashion, acessories and items for the home that she handmade, sewn or knitted.

Now, months later, she has taken the internet by storm and has been dubbed by friends and fans as the “Network Marketing Diva” because of her efforts to brand herself and those who work with her in total domination of the world wide web.
