Over a year ago, after the downturn of our economic system and the threat of the government takeover of the health-care system I took the advice of Robert Kiyosaki, to diversify my sources of income. I decided at that time I did not want to go the route of most Americans, which is to find a job in the corporate arena. This started a year long search of different types of home based businesses.

In my search I looked at many different opportunities and discovered that the fasted growing segments of the economy are the health and wellness industry (including diet and nutrition) and the organic products industry. As a pharmacist this aroused my curiosity. I decided to look at the opportunities in this field specifically, but I wanted to find a business model that can be done by folks outside of healthcare; something that did not require any expertise in healthcare but at the same time I wanted a company that had a clinically proven product that I could stand behind.

That is when I met Michael Winneger and he introduced me to a unique product made from hoodia that excited me as a pharmacist. Before I tell you about his product let me tell you briefly about hoodia.

Everyone has heard of Hoodia and how it is reported to curb the appetite. I have talked to several people in my pharmacy that have used the hoodia supplements but discovered it didn't work and made them nervous. It appears that the hoodia diet pills are more caffeine or other stimulant than anything else which explained the nervousness.

The lollipop becomes the delivery system getting the hoodia to absorb through the jaw. Drug manufacturers are doing the same thing with fentanyl pops for pain management and nicotine gum for nicotine withdrawal control.

Let me ask you this, when you look at a home based business are they offering a product that you really want and that you really will use? Are the products something that you would use regardless, even if you didn’t need them to keep a check coming?

Probably not!

That is the problem with most home based business opportunities. Most of the companies offer a product that you would have never bought. Yes they are excellent products, products that are of high quality but they also come with a high price tag. These are products that you would never have bought and probably would have never even looked at in the first place. Without the incentive of the residual check would you pay for the product on a monthly basis? Furthermore you have to maintain this high dollar auto-ship of products that you would have never bought in the first place had you not joined the company.

Many people looking for a business opportunity are financially strained in the first place. That’s why they are looking for an alternative; to make some extra money! Would you sign up today to purchase these products if the business opportunity wasn’t there? So why put people into further financial hardship trying to come up with a way to maintain their auto-ship of a product they would have never purchased and used in the first place.

Wouldn’t it make more sense if it were products that you use every day? Do you brush your teeth, shampoo your hair, and clean your skin? Normal common sense things that you purchase regularly! Regardless of the economy you are going to purchase these products on a recurring basis; something that you already go to the local supermarket or pharmacy to get regularly. Wouldn’t it make more sense to take the existing dollars that you are spending anyway and purchase products that you can use, from your own company, which can be delivered to your door every month?
