Ken Fernstrom

I was born and raised in the suburbs just north of Pittsburgh Pa.I attended Fox Chapel Area High School then Hampton Twp.High School for my senior year. My work history ,my Dad would take me to work with him when he could,later I would work for him most of the summer and some weekends.When I was 15 I worked as a caddy at the Pittsburgh Field Club Jake Parks was the caddy master at that time.After that I mostly worked for my father.After high school I worked for Fern Inc.,my father's swimming pool construction company.We would build pools in good weather and do remodeling in winter.I learned how to do Electrical work,concrete work,carpentry,Plumbing,ect. I was the crew foreman for 10 years which helped me develop at least some leadership skills.my Dad taught me to get things done without supervision and how to solve problems by consulting someone who was an expert in the arena were I needed help. I have worked in the swimming pool/construction industries for most of my life. for the last 15 years I have been a involved with Galaxy Fireworks of Florida doing Retail sales and temporary sales location setup. I also am an independent rep with Jeunesse Global I am also associated with Magnetic sponsoring and The Evaluation Group The reasons I am interested in Network Marketing are many.While I enjoy doing construction and repair work they are becoming harder for me as each year passes.I feel it is time to use my mind more and my body less to earn a living. I like the challenge of learning new things. I decided to learn to use the computer five years ago. I am still learning and am proud to have gotten this far.It would all be easier if I could spell better and type faster. I tend to learn my skills by doing so I just keep plugging along,getting a little better at things as I go.I am not the best talker but I try to be straight forward and most people are attracted to that.I know that I will have to develop better communication skills to be successful. The development of these skills is my main goal.
