I'm just a small town young woman trying to get ahead in life while doing some good along the way.

I was born in northern Texas. It was there that I spent most of my young childhood raised with my maternal family. When I was 10 years old my mother relocated our family to Georgia to be close to my paternal family. We have been here ever since, and I love it here, for now at least. For the longest time it has been mom, my little sister, and I. This changed during my middle school years when my mother remarried.

I did fairly well in school, in terms of academics. I tended to keep an A/B average. I even took a few honor classes in high school. I didn't really get that involved in extracurricular activities, except band. I joined band in middle school and continued to participate throughout high school. I even marched! Which, in my opinion, was some of the best years of my life(at least so far)! I have always had a passion and love for music, music has more power than some people really know.

After graduation I opted to take a year off before attending college. Before I started back to school I began staying with my great grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. It was emotionally and mentally exhausting caring for her. When I began attending college nearby one of my cousins and I had to alternate days of caring for our great grandmother and attending school. Dear ole'granny passed away at the age of 90.  Shortly after she passed I began caring with an extended family member who had been diagnosed with lung cancer. The family passed away about a year later. After she passed I continued attending college, that is until I opted to drop out after taking a course over the summer. I had plans of transferring to another college to pursue a degree in Music Management. But, financially I couldn't afford it. I just didn't feel right borrowing $20,000 annually for two or three years. So here I am, unemployed, still without my driver's license (working on it, hope have it by this spring) which makes it even harder to come by work. Thankfully, I have a little bit of savings to help me get by, but I won't be able to live off of savings for much longer.

I have recently became interested in network marketing and have found a company I am very interested in joining. I'm here to obtain as much information as I can before signing up so this way when I do join I am not completely clueless about what do. I have committed myself to joining by the end 2008.
