About Me
I was born and raised on Long Island (NY). I attended SUNY @ Stony Brook and received my BA in Psychology in 1997. I moved to Florida after college with my husband (and high school sweetheart) and lived there for 4 years. I returned to NY in 2001 and attended Hofstra University for 2 years. I received my MS in Elementary Education in 2003. I then taught in the NYC Public School System for a few years until leaving in 2008 when I had my daughter.
Currently I work for a new online company called: www.eCompliments.com as the local Community Manager for Suffolk County. eCompliments is an online review and referral site built on a social networking platform. It allows you to review any person, place, or thing in your community. We also offer small business owners a host of great tools to increase the positive word of mouth about their business and in turn increase their revenues.
Along with eCompliments I have a small candy wrapping business that I do in my home called Sweet Emme Designs. I offer many fun and whimsical wrappers for all occassions.
Things are very busy these days with being a mom, a wife, a Community Manager with eCompliments, and owner of Sweet Emme Designs!
