About Me

"Success is the progressive realisation of a worthwhile dream, Success is not the immediate fulfillment of a dream" - that is what I have learnt and truly believed since embarking on this great journey. A journey of personal growth, leadership, development, entrepreneurship, relationships, wealth, and most importantly, SUCCESS! My dear friends, fellow business owners and networkers, my name is Lam Nguyen (nu-win). I was born and raised in Australia and currently live in Melbourne. My parents are from Vietnam and both migrated to Australia in the early 80's therfore i thankfully have an asian, vietnamese background. I grew up in a suburban city called Springvale which is probably equivalent to what people in the U.S call the "Bronx". Both my parents were labourers, having been immigrants they had no qualifications nor could they speak english, but one thing they did better than anyone else I know is they worked hard, they worked damn hard! They worked hard to put my brother and I through schooling. I am the oldest of 3 siblings (all boys). I went to a private school which cost my parents thousands of dollars a year, they were doing everything they could to build my life for me, they were trying to dream for me! they wanted me to have a prosperous life, to live and not have to grow up the way they did. Their solution was to teach me just what most parents taught their kids, "go to school, get good grades, go to university, get a degree, become a doctor, lawyer etc" that was how I was raised.

Unfortunately, just like any other kid that lives in the bronx, I was a rebel and I retaliated, I regretfully did not listen to anything my parents said, I thought I knew it all! it was in one ear and out the other. Pretty much all of my friends were in the drug scene, most of my friends left home and dropped out of school, and guess what? so did I. At the age of 14, I ranaway from home, left school and was living life in the fast lane! so I thought it was. For the next 6 years I was in and out of home, on and off drugs, I broke every law there was and thankfully paid the price for many. By the age of 17 I had a criminal conviction and had a police record that was bigger than my report cards at school. "You become who you surround yourself with! you become what your peers are." I fortunately realised this and I got out, I was one of the lucky ones I should say, who was able to get out of the scene that I was living in, I wouldn't wish it upon anyone to live and go through what I went through during my teenage years, I had to get out! luckily, thankfully, I did...

Why do I bring this up? I bring this up because I believe you can train yourself to do and become anything you want in life. No matter where you come from, what qualifications or degrees you have, whether you finished school or not, no matter what you've done in the past, whether you have any experience or not, you can achieve anything you want in life if you want it bad enough, all you need is hard work, dedication, determination, a will to succeed and most importantly, a dream because a man with a dream will not be denied! Once I truly decided that I needed to change, I got my first real job as a door to door salesman when I was 22, it was the only job I could get because I had no experience and normally all of these jobs were commission based so if you couldn't sell your product, you didn't get paid which in my case I was selling electricity and I didn't earn much money at all. I made little to no money during the few months that I worked but what I was doing without knowing was I developed skills, skills that I needed and skills that would help me very much for years to come. I developed confidence, people skills, I learnt how to sell, I learnt about different types of people and how they all react to different things, I learnt how to manage and most importantly I gained experience. Experience that would acquire my first job with a salary. I had become such a great people person that when I started to look for work this time round, I had like 4 interviews all in one day and for each of them I was selected. At the end of that day I had 4 jobs all with salaries to select from, 2 of them were with large corporate companies, 1 was G.E Money (General Electric) which is the 4th largest employer in the world and the other was Telstra which is Australia's largest telecommunications company and I got the job for all of them. I decided to work for Telstra purely because it was closer to home and I could start the very next day, I still wonder today where I would be had I of chosen to work for General Electric. Nevertheless it did not matter anyway because work was something that I did not want to do for long, especially climbing the corporate ladder. Within 3 months of working for Telstra as a Sales Consultant, I was promoted to become a Sales Coach and 5 months from there I was promoted again to become a Team Manager. There were consultants that were older and who worked there for much longer who were trying desperately to get promoted and I achieved it in 8 months. I did it because I had full belief that I could do it, "what the mind can concieve and believe, it can achieve!"

I worked hard as a Manager, with promotions also comes responsibilities and more work. I was working so hard to make more money for the company, no matter how much revenue I brought in for the company I was still paid the same hourly rate which I hated! at times I wished I was still a consultant. I hated work! I hated everything about it, I hated waking up for work, I hated the politics, I hated everything that was realated to work period. Over a year went by and Australia was almost in recession and thankfully, employees were being laid off, people were getting retrenched left right and centre. Unfortunately I was not one of them, however the company did thank me for my hard work by demoting me, no they didn't promote me again, they put me back down, I was back in my original role as a consultant once again. That was the thanks that I got, I was bringing in at least 15grand of revenue per month whilst the company was paying me only 2500 a month. That was when I decided and knew in my heart that climbing the corporate ladder and working in general was something I did not want to do... and so I resigned and went on the search for a business. And till today, I have not worked another day and I will never work another day in my life...

To date I am currently 25 years old now and I am now an Independent Business Owner working from home. I now have multiple streams of income online and offline. I have over 5 main businesses that I am working on today, with one of my businesses growing in over 90 countries. And yes I do have a Network Marketing business, and my goal is to make 7 figures per month, over a million dollars per month in my Network Marketing business. I will achieve this within 10 years. Network Marketing is the only industry that is fair enough for me to achieve this. There are about 7000 millionaires in the United States, 85% were self made, only 15% inherited their money, therefor if only 15% inherited their wealth and 85% percent of people create their own wealth then why not me? why not you? why not any of us? I decided a long time ago that I will not be poor, I refuse to be poor and I am living my dreams today. I still have a long way to go but every journey begins with a first step, and i wish to share this journey with you... I leave you now with my favourite quote, "What lies before us and what lies behind us, are tiny matters compared to what lies within us!"

To our success...
