For the past 15 years I have been driving a truck all over the country. For the last 5 years my wife and I have been driving together as team drivers driving to all 48 states. As you can imagine living in a truck 24/7 and going home for only 3 days a month is not much of a life. We were looking for a change so we decided to try Network Marketing. We joined Herbalife International hoping for a better life. As we started our training with Herbalife I could immediately see that this could actually work. Our hopes were high and our determination was great. Then about halfway through our training the unthinkable happened. Our mentor quit!! No word from her that she was leaving...no nothing!!! She wouldn't take or return our phone calls or answer our emails. We were in a state of panic! We didn't know if we should quit or try to keep going on our own. Keep in mind that we were still driving the truck at this time and trying to do our training in the truck. Even though our hopes were damaged we decided to keep going. We were able to contact our former mentor's mentor and she was kind enough to help us out. Even with her help we were pretty much left on our own. Looking back on everything now I am kind of thankful that it happened the way it did. It has taught me two very important things. 1) You can make a lot of money in network marketing. 2) We had no idea what we were doing. Just like in any business the 1st rule of thumb is KNOW THE BUSINESS!!! This is why we are here. We want to learn the business. We want to be successful in this business. We want to meet new friends that are in the business so that we all may learn from one another. One final reason I WANT OUT OF THIS DAMN TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!! :) My wife has already quit driving so she can be home to work the business that we have but we haven't got to the point that I can work from home yet. We look forward to meeting our new friends and to our new and better life!!!!
