About Me
hey everyone! some of you may already know me on here as Richard Longs wife! Just thought I'd open an account and see what it's all about. May consider getting my own business if I see something that really catches my eye!
LOCATION: Anyways, I live in England, Birmingham to be exact. Love it here! Although in the midst of trying to convince my husband to move to America!
AGE: I am 20 years old, and for those that know my husband, yes its a 20 year age gap between us, but hey, who cares when its love! I've always been quite mature for my age, let alone looking older anyway, so i see myself more like 30 rather than 20... trust me i've had the life experiences for somone triple my age.
MY CHARACTER: I'm unbelievably friendly and LOVE making friends. I am not in anyway discriminative of anyone and people who are without a valid reason generally fall under the 'not really worth knowing' category in my books. i am very honest, if i have something to say i will say it, ALWAYS to the person intended, not behind backs. (if someone had something to say about me, i'd want them to say it TO ME, so i treat others the same). I am an extremely faithful and loyal wife so any men (or women) who are thinking of trying their luck, let it be known it won't and never will happen.
CURRENTLY: Me and my husband own a cat, a very cute one although she is a big ball of fluffy mischief! And as for kids, currently none, but a definite in the future. We live in a gorgeous apartment which we are only half way through decorating (the gorgeous was referring to the finished rooms).
PAST: I had an amazing up-bringing in my opinion. Some people may see it as quite dis-functional, but I am a very caring person who will always help, I am married to a great man, and have lots of good friends, so my parents must have done something right! lol. My mother and father separated when I was very young, however see them both on a regular basis and am very close with both of them. I have an amazingly supportive stepfather and a lovely 'kind-of' stepmother (she's not married to my father, but close enough). I have a funny brother, who is currently in University training to be a nurse, and 2 stepbrothers - 1 in the military and 1 is a school physics teacher and bass guitarist in a rock band. I have had my fair-share of bad experiences stemming from bad relationships, near-death experiences to miscarriages. I use these experiences as a way of helping others who have found themselves in similar situations so i can help them, so anyone needs a friend to talk to, I AM HERE.
FUTURE: I am one of those who believe 'life is what you make of it'. I am not religious so i don't believe that some higher spirit has control over my life, however religion does intrigue me and i do like learning about different religions and cultures. My plans for the future consist of making my husband happy, providing him with a gorgeous baby girl and baby boy, HOPEFULLY moving to America one day, and maybe even meeting a few friends off here in person. And obviously to be rather wealthy due to our endeavours with internet business ;)
MUSIC: I like 80's music, and do like rock. The old rock though, not the new stuff. sounds like just noise to me. lol. although some of its good. to get an idea of the newer rock i like, look up Gavin DeGraw... especially his song 'I don't wanna be'. I think its amazing. I LOVE power ballads. I'm open to R'n'B, mainly the lovey dovey songs though. And i do like Rihanna, as I will be naming my daughter after her (Umbrella is mine and my husbands 'song')
FILM: I LOVE films that are based on true stories, i find them so much more interesting as you know its close to the mark of what actually happened to someone. e.g- Erin Brokovich, Patch Adams, Titanic (yes i know the love story was made up but the part about the actual ship was true), The Other Boleyn Girl, Troy (maybe not exactly what happened, but a good view on the possibilities). I do like my love films, and comedies, and for those of you who would like to know what me and my husband are like, watch the film 'The Break-Up' - I know that doesn't sound to good, but the very start of how the couple are when they are happy, is close to the mark. The argument bits are scarily similar too. lol.
