Al & I currently reside in North Central Florida but will be relocating to the foothills of beautiful North Carolina as soon as possible which is to say as soon as the market picks up and our home here in Florida sells! 

I'm originally from NC and Al's from Upstate NY where we met and raised our 3 terrific sons...2 mine and 1 his.  We now also have 2 terrific daughter-in-laws, 3 beautiful granddaughters, a super special grandson and another grandson on the way.   

I spent 15 years in the auto industry beginning in the early 80's before it was fashionable to have saleswomen on the show room floor.  My last 6 years in that business was in management, sales and lease training.  Ah but alas...how many years can anyone continue doing 12 hour days 6 days a week??  Not to mention that the auto industry is the true apex of working to build SOMEONE ELSE'S dream!  Money was great but little to no benefits, future, pension etc. 

After that, the mortgage industry for many years which meant better hours and still decent money but again, building someone else's dream and when markets and economy goes soft, it's the first business to take a dive. 

I had always had some sort of "business" on the side and when we made the move to Florida in 2004, I decided that I wanted to get into networking full time and that it was now time for me to concentrate on building OUR DREAM!  So, here we are up to date and I 'm realizing that my dream keeps expanding which is keeping me quite busy which is good.  Life is good.  The Universe does watch over us.
