Lisa Drong

Hi!  My name is Lisa and I am an energy consultant for a natural gas supplier.  I love my job, because I can help people save money, as well as teach people how to make money.  I am making it my goal to learn everything there is about marketing, so that I can help people achieve success in their home businesses.  I read about 5 hours a night, just learning different techniques.  This has become my passion, and I am really enjoying it!

Don't get me wrong, I do have a life.  Because I own my own business, I can stay at home with my eight children.  This is the most important thing to me.  My husband and I have seven boys and one girl.  Their activities keep us busy, but we love the whirl of commotion in our home.  One of our children has cerebral palsy, and I have also learned quite a lot about physical therapy and treatment options for this brain injury.

One thing I have learned about life is that you always need to be reading and learning.  Everyday is a new opportunity to learn.  Sometimes, you learn about a subject because you are forced to, such as an illness.  Other times you stumble across a subject which facinates you, and you cannot stop reading.  Never stop learning!  If you position yourself in front of a TV every night, your brain will shrink and you will stop learning.  READ, READ, READ!  If you don't think you have a passion for learning, than you haven't found the right subject that interests you.  It is so rewarding to learn about new things.  If you have a business, never allow yourself to get too busy to learn, because you will eventually lose ground in your business.
