My life has been an incredible journey filled with success, failure and everything in between!
On January 1, 2008 I sold my business with sales of 4 million dollars. But, let me be the first to tell you that my success was years upon years of trials and tribulation.
I started my career driving a truck for more than 12 years. In 1986, I wanted a better life for my family and myself. The question was, "What Business?"
Interesting enough, I was approached by a friend who wanted a partner in the screen-printing industry. I knew this was my answer to building a better future. Even though I had to keep my trucking job, but I could do the screen-printing shop on evenings/weekends. With a wife and two sons, I borrowed $1,000.00 and started my life as an entrepreneur.
In 1989 I quit my full time job as a truck driver and devoted my full attention to Ryan Screen Supply. The hours were long and hard, but I spent more time with my family. My dreams were finally coming true.
Anybody can do what I have done. There are no secrets to my success. Work hard, be honest with your customers, and deliver when you say you will.
In 1993, Ryan Screen Supply began to sell screen-printing equipment and supplies. A full-time salesman was added to increase revenue and my oldest son began working for the company full time. After that it was simply to stay true to the core values, give exceeding excellent service to the customer and always looking to the future needs of the customer and the company.
On January 1, 2008 I sold the business that I was building for 22 years. It was my time.
I am retired now from the corporate world. I enjoy what I do today. I have a ton on my plate. Solutions for Business, Health coach, Consultant for screen-printing companies, Web designer, Web developer, Web marketer.
OK SO MUCH about me. I feel like a million dollars today. I listen and offer advice from my 58 years of struggling with good and bad decisions of life.
