Luanne Crawford

For the past 13 years, as a school psychologist, I've conducted psychoeducational evaluations and counseled incarcerated teens who have learning problems and disabilities, working for the largest regional education agency in the US. Its been a special mission and my passion to listen and to help troubled teens, one by one, by reflecting their unique value and discussing and brainstorming with them more honorable choices and options for their lives.

As a member of the Screen Actor's Guild since 1984, I had the pleasure of recently playing a principal role in a Direct TV commercial. Formerly a singer, student at Boston Conservatory of Music, and a Drama/Musical Theatre major, I acted in radio and TV commercials from the '70s til present, including with Regis Philbin in “New Love, American Style.” As a model, I've worked for Ann Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bobbie Brooks and Clairol.

I enjoy helping adults to develop home businesses with companies such as Herbalife International, Better Web Builder (which teaches Internet marketing strategies), and Melaleuca. As people become wholesale customers/distributors, they learn to expand their businesses online.

My most successful experiences have come through faith, education, resiliency, networking, good mentoring, and a desire to support prosocial causes. I may eventually open a private practice as a Licensed Educational Psychologist. I enjoy writing, Internet marketing, and working as a professional actress in the media arts industry, particularly in commercials. I like networking, developing websites, spending time with family and friends, writing, visiting friends, attending church, seeing Broadway musicals, traveling, dining and blogging.
