My family....
I have been married to my high school honey for 40 years. We have 2 wonderful daughters who have blessed us with grandsons. Our grandsons are the joy of our life. Evan is 2 and Taylor is 4. Evan's baby brother, Nathan James was born on Labor Day 9/07/09. I had the pleasure of catching him when he came out!
We have lived in a small town in NW Oregon for the greater portion of our life. Probably the most interesting chapter in my life was when my husband and I lived in Davao City, Philippines for over 7 years working with the poor. We served at a Maternity Clinic where I trained to be a midwife. It was very rewarding even though it was challenging. Some of the things we miss are the beautiful beaches, warm weather, $4.00 massages, cheap dining out and the wonderful people we worked with. However, I don't miss the masses of people, noise and the 'take your life in your own hands' traffic. It was an awesome opportunity I am grateful for.
