About Me
I live in the mountains of Northern New Mexico and stay at home with my 4 beautiful kids.
I have been making cowboy crafts for years and have participated in Arts & Craft shows for the past 4 years around NM & TX.
My last show was the furthest I've ever gone which was in Cheyenne, WY. With 4 kids and animals to tend to,
it was increasingly becoming a challenge to participate in shows. It is difficult to produce AND market my
products by myself, and there is SO MUCH that goes into participating in a show. From loading my trailer,
driving in the wee hours of the morning to start set-up at 7:00am, to moving tents, shelves, assembling grid walls, my products, etc. I was exhausted BEFORE the show started!
Don't get me wrong, it was nice to work hard for 12 hours and 2-3 days to receive what I would have normally
working 2 weeks at my old banking J-O-B, but, like I said, it was increasingly difficult to participate.
So, I wanted to stay at home more. I still do my crafts, but I now just create for orders placed on my
website and my local wholesale accounts.
I started researching work at home opportunities. I had been involved with
work at home "opportunities" before but, many were just plain scams, or were just empty promises.
In fact, my very first taste (at age 18) of what was suppose to be an MLM was indeed a pyramid scam.
Yes, there is a difference to those who do not know. The entire purpose of a pyramid scheme is to get
a large chunk of your money upfront and then use you to recruit other suckers, or sorry, distributors.
The entire purpose of MLM is to move product. If you are required to "invest" a large amount of money
up front to become a distributor, then your "investment" is actually disguised as an inventory charge.
Legitimate MLM businesses do NOT require large start up costs. The theory behind MLM is that the
larger the network of distributors, the more product the business will be able to sell.
Anyway, there was even a class action law suit by the member’s against the "founding father" of this so-called opportunity.
All I know is they received $5,000 of my hard earned credit and I had boxes of products taking up space in my parents garage.
Even after that experience, I was still determined to build my dreams. Over the next 15 years I would try
numerous adventures that lead nowhere. So, in my search of the right online home-based business, I knew I
needed to find the right product, an easy and affordable system, and people who were willing to help me
build my business. I got on the phone and talked with my would-be sponsors of a few opportunities to
find out more and to see if I wanted them as a sponsor. I was actually about ready to sign up to be a
distributor for an anti-aging gadget when the last thing the guy said was, "ok, then we will work on your
warm market and, you don't have to call them, I will"........................ I thought, I don't want him
calling my warm market! The way I would like to contact my warm market is by driving up in my new Cadillac
Escalade and having them say "Hey, how do I get one of those?" Well, I didn't sign up. My pursuit continued.
After a few months, I finally found what I was looking for, a great system, training, and so much support to help me succeed. That's where I am today, I stay at home building my business(es) and am able to tend to all the duties of a proud Mom of 4.
