About Me
You want to know about me? Do you want several novels or just the short book version? At this stage of my life, I live in Georgia, just south of Atlanta in a bright tourquoise blue house that my husband and I built on a little lake, with a white sand beach and tropical gardens (except when their frozen). It looks like I live in the caribbean somewhere. I am an island girl at heart!
I am a wife, and mom of five and have 8 grandkids. Everyone says I'm nuts, especially my big sister, because I've had kids all my life. Wrap your mind around this. ...my second youngest daughter who just turned 16, is 6 weeks younger than my oldest grandchild. Enough said.
I was born in the Philippines but moved to the island of Guam when I was a baby. To say that I was raised in paradise would be an understatement. When I grew up I became one of those peace/love hippie types that wanted to drop out some where and be self sufficient and live happily ever after. This was during the vietnam war era and I was convinced that the world was soon going to hell in a hand basket (some things never change). So after sailing across the oceans in our sail boat in search of paradise lost, I eventually ended up in Byron Bay, Australia. there I stayed for the next 14 years, living on a farm, enjoying the ocean and growing my own food., sometimes happily ever after, sometimes not.
I eventually ended up back on Guam and then to the states in 1991. In 94 I got another wild hair up my #$$$ (petunias) and moved to the island of Roatan in the Caribbean off the coast of Honduras, then after another saga moved back to the states in 98. and it's been Georgia ever since.
For longer years than I can count I have been involved in the construction industry. I guess you could say that by profession of the last 18 years, I am a kitchen and bath designer, but that is not my passion. Natural Health and wellness has been a major interest for me ever since I became one of those "flower children". Some of you are probably to young to remember those days.
Of course with this lovely economy, the construction industry in Georgia took a nose dive the last few years, so I 1/2 years ago or so I vowed that no matter what it took I was going to get a grip on how this internet stuff worked and find ways to share my passion and help others get well naturally. (Yes.. I am a bonified health nut, but I at least fell from the right tree!) I vowed to my husband that no matter what it took I would learn to do this. Well...It's taken me longer than I thought..too many gurus...so little time!
My daughter had some major health issues with an immune system disease called ITP 3 years ago and because of that, it is what tipped me over the edge. I guess you could say that is my first niche. How to cure ITP naturally. It is an obsession to let people know about the causes and cures of autoimmune diseases (especially ITP). I have been using article marketing to generate traffic to my squeeze page so people could download my free ebook that I wrote about my daughter Viv's story and how we cured her ITP. Yay! I have been keeping in touch with my list but don't actually have a product to sell (although I am writing a book with specific systems to solve this problem. It will work for other auto immune disorders as well) Basically I am on a mission from God with this project but it still is a niche. I have very mixed emotions about monetizing this niche. these are people who are at the end of their rope and don't want the drugs anymore. They actually cry out for me to help them. I pray to God that I can. I am very humbled by this project and it is intensely personal.
Then late last year my daughter regressed with her disease and it was back to square one. Through the grace of God I came across Zija and the moringa tree. Her health is being restored again. Many others are experiencing miraculous results with this amazing product. Because of this I decided to get the word out about this amazing botanical and become a Zija distributor...only one slight problem. I don't have a clue about network marketing and I don't have the hughest of warm markets...this is where my joining this site comes into play. I know where i want to go ...I just have to find the way to get there and reach as many people as I can for better health! I am not adverse to hard work and I firmly believe that I have found the vehicle in Zija to get to where we want to go. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you on this site.
