I have reviewed, edited and proofread thousands of articles, websites, stories and also helped design ads and wrote motivating Internet sales copy - over the past 20 years - as an Internet Business Owner, Author, Copywriter, Proofreader and Marketing Consultant.
Writers appreciate me because I do not change their style in favor of a "properly written sentence." I am one of very few proofreaders/editors who realize that Internet writing is much different than writing in high school English class.
