The Network Marketing Accountant and Proud of It!!!

Hello fellow networkers!! Thanks for taking some interest in getting to know who I am. My name is Mark Gubuan and as of this writing I'm 29 years old and I'm working towards obtaining my Certified Public Accountant certification.

My journey into network marketing really began during the summer of 2003 where I sold books door to door. I worked 80 hours a week and walked door to door prospecting hundreds of people a day. I learned so much about myself that summer.

I Ain't No Quitter

You see that experience taught me a couple of things. The most prominent thing that I've learned was never to quit. When you feel like quitting you've got to work twice as hard.

The other thing that I learned was that you have to have a positive attitude about everything. Easier said than done right? Its the positive attitude that will separate you from all the rest. This attitude will give you the mental power to overcome all adversity that you face.

The persistence never to quit and a positive attitude lead me back to the network marketing industry. You see I was a skeptic. I was introduced to network marketing in the early 1990's in my pre-teens because of a family member.

He was one of the best recruiters that I've ever seen. As you can imagine, he organization grew fast and large. But as you all know, attrition occurs over time and his organization disappeared.

Network Marketing Sucks

That's not something that I saw as appealing. I knew that there were things that he was doing that I would have to do. As I grew up I sat in many other opportunity meetings and I understood the work that it would take to get to tremendous wealth.

All of my skepticism came from all of the things that I heard from people who've never done network marketing. So of course the things that I've heard are all going to be negative. You know the facts. Many people "fail" or if we're being real quit. Or don't take the time to develop the skills that they need to survive in this highly competitive market.

Ok. I See Your Point

So fast forward to today as I sit here in beautiful Oregon operating my network marketing business completely online from the comfort of my home. However, I am still part time in network marketing as I transition from working as an accountant for someone else, to becoming financially free.

I recognized that network marketing and online marketing in general are extremely difficult to succeed in, that it is an opportunity for a better life. A better life that I have control over. I CAN succeed because of my work ethic, ambition and attitude.
