I was born July 5th, 1975 in Cleveland, Ohio. My family is of Croatian heritage. My mother was born in Istra (formerly a part of Italy), the same region as Mario Andretti. My father was born near Sarajevo, Bosnia where the 1984 Olympic games were held. Croatian was my first language, and I learned English at about age 3. I still speak it today at family gatherings.
