Arnold Massie

I am was raised in Gary, Indiana. I hold a BSIM from the University of Purdue, a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and a MAED from the University of Phoenix. I've taught at the secondary level and at the college level. But with all my degrees and teaching experience I didn't feel the educational system was doing enough to teach our young people how to think critically, how to think for themselves and not just repeat what I had said to them. I realized that I must do something different.

This generation is faced with some challenges that our parents never dreamed could exist. For instance, how to protect our children from cyberbullying or predators. Or how to create income producing options for the thousands of college graduates entering into a world of double digit unemployment.

We can no longer stand by and do nothing. I'm still teaching, but now I'm teaching my students that you don't have to wait for that company to give you a job, you can create your own company. A home-based business is be best way to get started. I'm helping them to tap into the creativity that is within them to understand that the main thing they need to succeed is already inside of them. We're learning how to tap it.
