Before I tell you more about my most recent discoveries, let me first turn back the clock and tell you a little bit more about where I came from and how I got started.

From about the age of 5 I have always been fascinated with the advertising industry; television commercials, magazine ads, radio, billboards, transit, you name it. I was one of the kids that was glued to the television each year for the SuperBowl. Not to watch the game, but to watch the commercials.

When everyone else wanted to change the channels or go for popcorn and snacks on the commercial breaks, I was the one that was glued to the tube finding humor in the Cracker Jack and Alphagetti Ads.

I knew one thing for sure… I had DREAMS! I’m talking BIG Dreams!

It was no surprise that by the time I turned 25 I had my own advertising agency and I was now working on the creative campaigns that had inspired me so much since the age of 5.

My offices looked like something out of Design World. I had 10 employees. The big accounts were starting to roll in. I felt like I was at the top of my game.... Then the day came that I will never forget.

I remember the Vancouver Sun, front page news…

“Advertisers BUCKLE UP! RECESSION HITS”!

“No! This can’t be!” I remember saying to myself. I had spent over a hundred thousand dollars positioning my company into the market. I had worked so hard to get my Agency positioned as an industry leader.

Companies began flocking to my agency in droves wanting me to help them from going under. Then one Friday it all came tumbling down. We had been promised a large payment from one client for months and it never came.

Another client went under…. leaving me with a $47,000 unpaid printing bill. I had stretched myself to the maximum. Checks I had out for car leases, office space, the office phone, employees wages and even one client’s Ad Space all started bouncing like rubber balls.

I was drowning and there was no place to turn!

That weekend was one of the most devastating weekends of my life as I moved everything out of my office, closed the doors and turned out the lights. I was officially DONE!!

Ouch! What a shot to the confidence and self esteem. Not to mention the Ego, confidence and self esteem…. Whew! It was torn, battered and bruised.

I began spending a lot of time in the personal development section of the book store and began training with mentors like Tony Robbins, Dr. Lee Pulos, Wayne Dyer, Napoleon Hill, Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, and Earl Nightengale.

I remember it like it was yesterday, eating Spaghetti and Ketchup..

Because it was all I could afford, while watching Tony Robbins infomercials late at night! But they say “It’s not how many times you fall off the horse, but how many times you brush yourself off and get back in the saddle that counts…”

I was ready to get back on the horse and go for another ride… Within a few years I was back at the top of my game. Back up to 6 figures in no time flat… but I was looking at life from a totally different perspective. The concept of overhead, lease payments, staffing and all of the paperwork that went along with it literally sent shivers down my spine!

It was then that I started to become more interested in virtual businesses…

Online marketing and businesses that would require very low monthly overhead.

Plus.... a few of my friends were raking in the 6 figure monthly residual income checks from a variety of network marketing companies (which definitely helped out the cause). One little taste of residual income and from that point on I was bitten by the network marketing bug.

I was determined, that I would crack the Network Marketing Code. NO MATTER WHAT! As the years went by, I stayed true to my path of personal development I worked with many people in the industry and even had the opportunity to share the stage with Anthony Robbins a few times. Everyday

I began to focus on the words…..“Freedom 35”

With every step I took I repeated those words Freedom 35, Freedom 35. I started to notice trends and shifts happening in the marketplace with Internet stocks…… and in 1999 I launched a number of companies. I was the founder of www.Bingo.com. I raised $7 million for the project. We spent $1.2 million on the domain name alone.

It made headlines around the world……yet at the time everyone laughed at me….. “Who is ever going to play Bingo on the Internet Darren?” “It will never work Darren” “You’re crazy Darren” People said to me…as they snickered and chuckled in my office.

The site was quick to attract over 1.2 million registered users

And soon became the stickiest site on the internet with an average user time of over 45 minutes. I then went on to launch www.AbleAuctions.com and www.Blackjack.com.

And I don't tell you these stories to impress you. I only tell you these stories to impress upon you what can happen when you apply vision with action and practice The Secret Law of Attraction everyday.

At the age of 39, and after another sequence of events I found myself back in the Network Marketing Industry once again. But this time and I found myself working side by side with a few million dollar income earners that came from Old School Network Marketing.

Although I was one of 6 people chosen out of 70,000 affiliates to be one of the company's trainers, my income was just not matching my abilities and my potential. After spending 4 years and over $100,000 in cashflow I soon realized that the Old School Network Marketing techniques were not going to make me rich, and if I was going to make it in the industry, I had better figure out a strategy to crack the code and I better do it fast.

I was just about ready to throw in the towel

And then I remembered The Secret Law of Attraction……and how I had used it in the past. I began to focus on finding someone that could give me the answers I was looking for.

I was looking for ways to create INCOMING PHONECALLS from people that were already sold on the Network Marketing business model and what I discovered from that point forward changed my path in the Network Marketing Industry forever.

That day "The Stars must have been totally aligned!" Because right after I discovered a way to have people calling me about my business...I got the call that would change my life Forever!

One of my friends called me (The one that makes 6 figures a month in network marketing). He asked me if I had ever heard of Ken Brailsford. I said of course I had, Ken is an ICON in the network marketing industry and the founder Nature's Sunshine, Enrich International and Botanicals, each of them huge success stories in Network Marketing.
