Matthew Lewis

My name is Matthew John Lewis and I am originally from the New York but I grew up in Miami Florida. I come from a middle class family and I am the oldest of five boys. We were a middle class family and all my life I have seen my parents struggle financially. They would join different companies and just never seemed to get anywhere. At a young age my dad instilled the idea of mailbox money. That was always something that I wanted to strive for.

When I graduated college I got a "great job" as an electrical engineer and I moved to Dallas Texas. The first seven months I did nothing related to engineering. My bos was not even an engineer and I got to spend my time doing busy work. We did not get a long all that well and it didnt make sense for me to get an engineering degree to do supply chain work. In addition, I did not like how all the senior level engineers were tired and stressed out. I started thinking what good is a six figure income if I have no time with family. SO I joined network marketing.

I had been introduced to MLM back in college and I failed at it miserably. So I figured if I join a company that sells a service everyone needs I will be a millionaire in no time! How little did I know? So I got in and did worse than I did before. One day I was looking online for answers and I came across Mike Dillard's magentic sponsoring. It changed the business for me because I realized that people join me not my business so I had to work on me and still do.

I got on magnetic sponsoring and building on a budget both great but still lacks one thing...mentorship. It has great insight but sometimes we need a mentor/coach to help us put the pieces together and that it what I found with mentoring for free.

It was so rewarding to find a group that will mentor me for free regardless of if I join them or not. The most valuable thing I have learned as a result of failing forward is that you really have to take the eye off of yourself and love and serve people.
