About Me
Hello and thanks for checking out this site.
My name is Matthias and I moved here to the US (along with my parents) over 30 years ago. I am very happy to be here in this wonderful, diverse place. There is so much to discover, even after living here all these many years.
I originally come from Germany and even lived in Colombia, SA for a few years. I've had the good fortune of having traveled all over the world and experiencing many different cultures first hand.
I believe, that as a result of this exposure to such vast diversity at a young age, this has formed my interest in personal development and the teaching of this wonderful field.
I got my introduction to the field of personal development in sixth grade. I had the wonderful good fortune of having a teacher that really embraced this curriculum and she had a significant impact on me and my future. At the time I wasn't actually fully appreciating the value of what I was being taught, I was however aware that I really liked this teacher and her teaching style and was very interested in doing a good job in her classes. Eventhough her main class was English her classroom expanded into many other areas of human psychology and life values and lessons. Here is where I was first taught the value of quieting your mind, meditation and focus.
I went on to study with this mentor for several more years both in school and beyond as we (my family and I) became lifelong friends with this wonderful person. We still are in contact to this day although we are living thousands of miles apart.
Once again my family and I were on the move and I had to leave this school that I would miss greatly. I went on to further my education and even went through college changing my majors several times, finally ending with a mix of business management, international languages and sciences (pre-med). To this day I am still a student and will continue to be one for the rest of my life - I love learning new stuff!
I am also a teacher now, as I have begun passing on those things I have learned and experienced for myself and found valuable for improving anyone's life. I get great enjoyment out of sharing these wisdoms (some my own, many from other mentors in my life) with good people that have found obstacles in their own life. This is a growing and cooperative area that works as a win-win for everyone.
Our love of personal development has evolved into a business that my wife Mary Anne and I have been operating for over three years. We are now coaching and mentoring many people from all walks of life and all areas of the world into prosperity and fulfilled, happy lives. We could not think of anything that could give us more joy and meaning in our own lives than to be in service of others on their quest for a meaningful life. This is how "VivaQuest, LLC" was born.
Together with the "information age" and the internet our "life quest" has expanded to be worldwide. We always welcome more students and ambitious opportunity seekers to take part in our ever expanding horizons. Thanks to great sites such as "betternetworker.com" we are constantly growing and realizing more wonderful friendships and experiences along the way.
Till we meet, may you experience greatness in all you do... Matthias C.

Was reading a book on integrity and was reminded of this quote. Really love Twain's perspective. Thank you Lynn!
