Hello,

My name is Kim. I JUST started in this particular endeavor of network marketing.  I started for the same reason that most of us probably did. I wanted to use my brain more and labor less. I wanted something better, more positive connections with people and the things they need to succeed

I guess my biggest flaw is that I am a people pleaser,  I abhor conflict with people I would rather that you told me what you need.  I guess you could say that I have had an interesting life and have done mostly labor: ranch work, yard work, house work, cable tv construction

Our Life insurance guy turned us onto Ameriplan USA, I started doing alittle clicking around to see if there was anything out there to help me learn to do this business. Honestly, right out of the gate I ran across this book and so  I purchased the Renegade Network Marketer, both in it's ebook format, as well as the hard copy.  I am trying the hard way at the moment.  I have a primary website that has a link page to hook up with all of my other affiliate sites (still underconstruction, but operable).

Please check it out at: http://www.klwilliamson.com I know it needs some work, suggestions are welcome!  I realize that this is a VERY COMPETIVE BUSINESS. I am just looking for a friendly face to give me some pointers.  Like, can I edit my affililiate sites to impress myself on them or do I have to use the boiler plate model that is given when you sign up for any affiliate site??? Are e-malls good for making money ect...

I was laid off in March of this year.   Am I in the right place?  I don't expect to get rich over night but I would really like to know if I can do this  Is there too much of a good thing. I was reading tania's post about ettiquete in here, I guess I need to sit down and just read and listen.

Hi Kim, Thanks for your warm welcoming note. I am new to this network and it looks like a very friendly and welcoming one. Also there is a lot to learn, which is nice. I read what you wrote about yourself and wish you good luck in your new business. What is it exactly about? it is medication supply? We are also having our network business, it is a relatively new company and we love the products a lot (actually we love everything about this company). The network company is so different than working in the corporate world, many new ways of connecting to people, different way of life, etc. Anyways, keep in touch, we'll keep each other posted with progress in our businesses. Hey Kim! Merry Xmas. Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my article...I appreciate you taking the time to add extra value to it. I agree that we should not dwell on the 'why' of being in business. Like you said, for most of us it is more money however I find that money is just a means to an end. For me personally, money does not motivate me, however if I think about all the things I would be doing with the money, that will motivate me greatly. In the system we live in, money = freedom. If you are stuck over-analysis your whys...I would like to invite you to read my other article called the 10/10. I believe it will help to keep things basic for you. Help you realize what really makes you happy and sometimes it the simplest of things. Take care!

Kim- A few days back you wrote a comment on wanting to understand what exactly pyamid schemes are. I would recommend the Brilliant Compensation CD. I think the website is networkingtimes.com and if I remember correctly it's only a couple dollars. It's very pro-MLM and helps aliviate fears. Susy
