Michael McGhie

I was born in Seattle Washington and until 8 years old I lived in Edmonds Washington. It was a great little house and one day I would love to go back and buy it back from the owners. I have many great memories there.

When I was 8 years old in 1968 the family moved up to Fairbanks Alaska. My dad had a dream to build a cabin by the time he was 30 years old and he did it! I will never forget those times. We all played a part in building our house. Some of which anymore would be considered a no-no, you know, putting the kids in jeopardy. It was 1968 and things were a little different back then.

I was of course the curious type and had this ambition to find out how everything worked, so of course when the lawn mower wouldn’t start, dad would get home and it would tore up into pieces. Man I would get in trouble. But I was told to put it back together and low and behold I learned how an engine worked.

All this knowledge naturally guided me to be an auto mechanic and have been now for 32 years. I have done pretty much all of it from parts delivery driver to manager overseeing 6 mechanics doing a million+ in yearly sales.

Being in the automotive industry had its perks, a warm shop to work on your vehicle was the big thing. Living in Alaska, the winters aren’t all to forgiving when it comes to working on the car in the driveway so I was grateful for that.

I am single and don’t have any children but I am blessed with nieces and nephews and cousins spread between Alaska and Washington State.

I love animals of all kinds but have 2 cats, Boys and Babies. They are your Garfield’s for sure. Fat and spoiled rotten.

I have an internet business I work part time in the evenings that have given me extra money to play and also will soon allow me to quit my day job and stay at home. I like to say, “I work from 8-5 to pay my bills, and part time to build a fortune.”

My purpose in life is to help others regain their health and build a life for themselves and their families again.
