About Me

I previously worked as an actuary for over 8 years, the last year spent with JPMorgan.

I always had the entrepreneurial itch and tried various businesses previously with very little to no success. (A good business venture was when I broke even, but at least I learned alot on the way!)

I then took a leap of faith, quit my relatively high-paying safe, professional job and... failed again!

I joined a young but quickly growing network marketing company with a good friend, and (I cringe now) tried all the old-school methods proven to not work, but I stubbornly proved it all over again: calling on friends and family, and people I hardly knew and hadn't spoken for years to as well, cold calling from door to door at local businesses, and of course buying leads, calling them, and wasting alot of time and money.

That was when I found Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring and changed my whole philosophy. For months I went off the deep end going into hard-core internet marketing, but then I found my way back, armed with alot of knowledge and some internet assets building up.

It was then that I fully understood what a complete marketing system looks like: affliliate products on the low end that offset adverstising costs, primary MLM building on the back end, and a "Top Tier" or GPT business (Get Paid Today) earning large commissions today while the MLM builds up over time. At that point, I carefully researched and joined what to me was the most impressive GPT business (because I am very into personal development.)

The most important thing through all of this is that I've been massively acquiring new knowledge and skills, putting it into practice, learning directly from a top life coach and mentor, and becoming a mentor myself.

Soon, I will have the freedom to work only a couple hours per day, while I spend the rest of my time with my family and friends, travelling and experiencing the world, becoming certified as a life coach, home scooling my children, growing my family, and planning on how to make a larger impact in the world. And, my education will NEVER stop.

The techniques I'm mastering and teach are:

  • assembling a complete marketing system
  • using google adwords and yahoo search marketing
  • article marketing
  • video marketing
  • social marketing
  • basic SEO techniques (almost on page 1 for "online mlm" now!)
  • How to set up and monetize a blog
  • How to break into and customize any stock landing page

My non-internet marketing interests are wide and varied: consciousness studies, the science behind the Law of Attraction, physics, chess, personal development, traveling, reading, and working out.

I currently have an almost 2 year old son, Lachlan, and my wife and I plan on growing our family really soon. Lachlan is getting into everything now; he is so much fun. The other day I heard him in the kitchen moving a chair. He moved the chair to the stove, climbed up, grabbed a spoon, took the lid off a pot of chili, and started eating! He got chili all over his face and shirt, and I got it all on video! I'll post a link once I get that uploaded.

Anyway, always looking to network, mastermind, and mentor with people who are positive and ready to move forward in their lives, so drop me a line and lets connect!
