Mitch Long

Ok so first off welcome to my profile page. It’s good to meet you. My name is Mitchell Long.
 
Second a little bit about me.
 
I’ve worked most of my life with my grandpa planting gardens for people who were either too old to do it themselves, or didn’t know how, or were too poor to afford food so we would plant them a garden so they could save money for more important things.
My grandpa was an entrepreneur all of his life
 
And he always told me Mitch, (he really called me Mitchell which he pronounced
(Mee-chell) he was a Scotsman who grew up in Mexico. Go figure….)
Anyways…
 
“Always take care of people first and money will come later”  
 
I never caught on to that concept till I got older..
 
But I have had lots of official jobs in my life too. I had a union job where I had so much money I couldn’t spend it all, but had no time to do anything. Which I ended up working so much my feet started bleeding everyday by the time I was done. And I had a job as a camp director where I had all the time in the world to spend, but had no money to do anything.
 
And various other construction jobs, all of my grandpa’s sons own their own construction businesses, so I always had work from them too.
 
But my last job was kinda different. I worked at a motorcycle shop it was BY FAR the best job I have ever had in my life. I got to Ride and detail motorcycles all day long. ( I still cant believe I got paid for it) lol I thought these guys are so dumb they are paying for something I would do for free any day of the week! Lol
 
But the sad part about that job was that I lost that job due to some weather damages to a rather obsessive customer’s bike. (Not the kind of guy you want to meet in a dark alley either lol) Basically it came down to he wanted somebody fired or he would sue the shop. And since I was the new guy I got canned. But its alright I still have a good relationship with my ex-bosses’ and truth be told I was looking for a way out.
 
See it was right around that time that my grandpa passed and I was trying to put my life together and follow in his footsteps and become an independent entrepreneur. And working at a biker shop isn’t the best place to build and maintain that optimistic success oriented attitude and mentality.
 
I just couldn’t quit. I hate quitting, so it was a good thing I got canned. It was the only job I’ve ever been fired from. But after that job I “KNEW” I never ever wanted to work for somebody else again..... EVER!!!
 
I’ve been involved in various MLM companies and lots of people I know and are related to are top brass in a couple of different companies. So I’ve been around the industry along time.

But here I am with you guys working on building a new life and a new way of being and I am very happy to see so many people working to better themselves and in turn the world too.
 
My goals here are to live by my Grandfather’s mentality and pass it on to everybody.
