We started our online business in order to create a lifestyle of freedom from being tied down to traditional jobs, that no matter how hard we worked or dedicated we were the outcome was the same. Our lifestyle and income was controlled by our employers, dictating how much our income would be, when we could spend time with each other and family, when we could take holidays and even when we could be sick.

We imagine being able to earn money from anywhere, while knowing that our commitment, hard work and dedication would have a direct effect on us. Realizing that our lifestyle and freedom was our responsibility, we began a search to find something that would put us in control. That's why we have started our own business online.

We want to meet, network, and educate people of their options, to be in control of fulfilling their needs, wants, and desires. Hopefully our story can inspire you to discover a better alternative.

To let you know a bit about ourselves, Along with the strength, growth, and patience to be married for 27 years, we have successfully achieved the challenges of raising two girls and are now the proud grandparents of two granddaughters. (payback is a bitch) lol. We currently live on the Miramichi River in New Brunswick Canada, a recent move from Kingston Ontario that was initiated by the dream of living on the water, and are settling into a new phase of our lives together.

Cathy has spent 25 years in a Retail Management career. Long hours, dedication and commitment to corporations bottom line resulted in personal sacrifices, more times than not putting someone else's business before family. Working weekends, evenings and holidays was a commitment needed in order to not jeopardize her job. It didn't give her more income, guarantee job security nor was it directly effecting our future freedom and lifestyle we so dreamed of. Matter of fact in 2010 Cathy lost her job in results of restructuring. She was emotionally devastated, saying that she felt that she had lost a part of herself. Cathy had always put her heart and soul into her job, continually going above and beyond. Reaching financial milestones for the companies she dedicated her time and energy to, only to be left with nothing to show for her commitment and achievements.

As far as myself, I started with a Federal Government job as a Stationary Engineer for 14 years. Yes many thought I had it made, but the shift work, boredom, lack of freedom, and absolutely no gratification in what i was doing drove me to start a journey searching for a solution. Leaving the government job without an actual opportunity in mind, left me with a lets say “not so happy wife” on my hands. With a strong entrepreneur spirit, and my first couple years bouncing me around dabbling in this and that without contributing much of an income, I took on a large financial endeavour and started

an antifreeze recycling business. With dedication, hard work, many many hours a day, and re-investing profit, the business was achieving consistent growth. With that growth came more employees, more headaches, more bills, and less time for family. Although I was getting gratification and I was proud of my accomplishment, there was no freedom or sight of the dream lifestyle.

Five months after our 1200 km move to New Brunswick Canada, where we were determined to start fresh taking responsibility to build our financial future, Cathy was diagnosed with cancer. So many things in life are uncontrollable, the question is why we are not sure to take control of the things we can? Our commitment to our needs, wants and desires need to be a priority that we take control of sooner than later.
