Hello BNers!  I'm happy to be here and look forward to connecting with like-minded folks!

I presently live in Hagerstown, Maryland with my (almost) 14 year old son, Ryan, and my husband, Jim.  I say "presently" because I am originally from Baltimore (Maryland) and my primary goal is to move back to Baltimore when Ryan graduates from high school in 4 1/2 years.  The Inner Harbor at Baltimore is an incredibly vibrant and exciting place to live, so I plan on buying a beautiful waterfront condo - no more lawn to mow, no more snow to shovel, no more gardens to weed, etc!

I have several businesses that I am passionate about!  First, I am a District Manager for United First Financial, offering the premier financial management/mortgage acceleration/debt elimination system called the Money Merge Account program.  I had 25 years left to pay on my mortgage, along with a good bit of credit card debt, and using this phenomenal program I am on track to have ALL of my debts paid off in less than 9 years!  This is such a timely business because, in these economic times, everyone realizes the importance of reducing their debt but few have the discipline or the know-how to actually do it!  Our program acts as a GPS for your personal finances, directing you on how to leverage your money so you get to ZERO debt in the (mathematically) quickest way possible.  There is a version for those who have mortgages (even multiple mortgages for investment properties) and a version for those with no mortgage but who do have consumer debt (ie: car loans, credit cards, student loans, etc.).  For those who are passionate about helping others, this is an incredible business opportunity for 2009!

I am cursed with being the one who always finds the typos in menus, advertisements, books, magazine articles and the newspaper so I am also in the process of starting my own Proofreading business.  And, since I have been getting more involved with social networking and blogging I have noticed a tremendous need for a Proofreading service for bloggers!  So, since I love to read, I decided to build up my multiple streams of income and make some money doing what I love and for which I have a gift.  I haven't finished my proofreading website yet but will post the address here as soon as I do.  In the meantime, please contact me directly if you have any projects you would like to have proofread!
